Nice old hotel in the centre of town and on the river. We had a large room with view over the river. Just enough sound from the small waterfall to make you sleep well. Room was recently redone and looked fabulous. Public parking in front of the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we decided to eat...

I've stayed here twice. Once in 2012 while doing one of the complete camino routes. (Lisbon to Frankfurt). And this year while biking across France (my wife drove a car). 2012 - Was before the renovations. But it was still nice enough to come back. 2016 - Now, it's a very comfortable place. Not what you are going to find...

A warm welcome at reception after a long journey and before starting the camino . Loved the old oak staircase and stone doorway to our room. Nice dinner, efficient service, very pleasant staff , good breakfast. All in all an excellent start and only 10 mins walk from the station, thankyou.

We were very pleased with our overnight stay at this beautiful hotel. All the rooms have been very well renovated with a very comfortable bed and very up to date shower . The view from our room was exquisite. A continental breakfast was a bit disappointing considering it €10 price.

We stayed there for two nights before we started the camino. It was better than expected. Excelent Service, nice and clean room, beautiful view from the balcony! The only sad thing I realized was the tired looking reception lady that worked at least 14 hourst every day and did almost all the tasks in the hotel and the restaurant. If...

Stayed for one night on a touring trip of France and Spain. The hotel is well located, very central and has parking available. Rooms are spacious and have nice bathrooms, windows are shuttered which was quaint. We did have some issues with the room electrics and could not charge our phones despite trying a number of sockets. Not sure what...

I actually stayed here back in July of 2013. I arrived at St Jean very late at night having caught the last train from Bayonne. I was in St Jean to walk the Camino de Santiago. I had made no prior reservations in St Jean and wandered around the town for probably an hour trying to figure out what to...

Best hotel we have had. Clean, modern, and staff very friendly and helpful. Peaceful and overlooking the river. Nice spot on terrace to have a bite to eat or a cool drink and look at the trout. It was our first night before walking the Camino de Santiago.

We stayed here for two nights before starting the Camino Frances from St Jean. Great location in a lovely little town ideal for a weekend stay. The room overlooked the square and was roomy, comfortable and very tastefully decorated with all the required facilities. The evening meals and breakfast were very good and the staff were friendly, helpful and with...

“The balcony rooms have extra large beds and beautiful bathrooms . Are exceptionally clean and have lovely views over the river . The double glazing is great at keeping the noise of the water out at night . The cleanliness of the rooms was second to none .”

“We always ask for a room in the back of the building as the road noise in the front of the hotel can be intense. I remember our favorite room as being # 27, but I cannot swear to it.”
