Staff was incredible!! The resort has done an excellent job getting back to full service since the hurricane. Room was comfortable. Having a Covid test center on property was a big plus. Reason i gave 4 out of 5 had to call several times to have room cleaned. Finally was cleaned late afternoon. Could have been short staffed but in the scheme of things really no biggie. Loved the pool bar and the beach area.

We have been going to Abaco Beach Resort for years. We used to stay on a boat in the marina, but in recent years, we have rented a two-bedroom unit, which is very comfortable and spacious. Our most recent trip, in June 2021, was our first return since Dorian struck the island, and we were heartbroken to see the devastation all over the island. The resort, however, was in great shape...kudos to the good people who rebuilt and got it back in working order. We go here expecting to have a very laid-back experience. We aren't looking for the lap of luxury when we are at Abaco Beach Resort...we are looking for relaxation in a beautiful setting with wonderful staff. You won't find friendlier staff anywhere. We tend to spend a few days out on a boat and a few days by the pool. When we are at the pool, we spend a lot of time at the bar...it's legendary with fabulous service from great bartenders. They make you feel like family. As for dinner, we love the hotel restaurants. We had some of our best meals ever at the bistro, and the restaurant down by the pool provides good meals as well. The beach is beautiful, and the hotel is well-maintained. We also spent a lot of evenings walking around the resort and marina after dinner...lots of fun. We love this place and hope to return soon.

We came here for lunch, and to use the pool which used to be included, as we had been assured by staff when we called for a reservation. We spent $200 on a pretty mediocre meal, and were informed by an unpleasant old white dude that we could not use the uninhabited pool unless we were hotel guests. Staff and view were great. Crying 8 year old who wanted to use the pool was a bummer

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent visit to our resort restaurant and to share aspects of your dining experience that did not meet your expectation. I have shared your comments with our F&B team so that they can investigate further and take corrective action from their findings. Further, only guests of the hotel or marina are allowed use of the resort pool. Alternatively, the resort does offer the purchase of a Day Pass (Adult/Kid) that would have allowed use of the pool. We do apologize that this information was not clearly communication to you so that you could have made a better purchase decision. It has always been the policy of the resort that guests to the restaurant do not have access or use of the resort pool. Our Operation Team will work even harder to ensure that this information is communicated more clearly to our restaurant guests in the future. Again, thank you for your feedback.

In March 2021 I had a reservation to stay here for one night before leaving on a sailing trip. We ran into flight problems and the Abaco Beach Resort was extremely helpful and canceled our room without a penalty. The next day we flew in and stayed on our boat while docked at the marina, and it was very nice. The marina is like new after being rebuilt post-Dorian. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was good. The food was a little slow coming out but we were in no hurry. Marsh Harbor is still dealing with a lot of problems from the hurricane and the water went out while we were there, but this was not the hotel's fault and they did their best to get it back up and running as fast as they could.
