I came down with my family last weekend and we absolutely enjoyed it. We had six adults and our own kitchen and bathroom facilities, just like a home away from home. Warm and cosy to beat the spring breeze from winter. Hot pools to suit every fussy person in our family. No reception which meant we had to talk to... More

Six adults meant five beds and at least one of those a queen. Rare to find accommodation that can house this many adults in one place at a reasonable cost. OHS&HP does. Internet available if you wanted to pay extra but it was a marvelous opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted time with family and friends. OHS&HP offers. It was the little... More

We used the private pool which was worth it. A bit old looking area Stated 40celsius but felt cooler. It is our first hot pool in New Zealand trip so I hope we find better places. Recommend but expected more Easy to find and friendly staff The other pool was chlorine pool and a bit cooler

This was the most expensively price accommodation of our trip. 98 a night for a 9, 13 16 year old and two adults. This was 30 dollars more expensive that every other place we stayed. The amenities were older and were OK not as clean as other places.

Had a great night away in a well appointed cabin with everything we needed & an immaculate shower and toilet just nearby down the verandah. Really well laid out camp & the private pool was just an incredible experience ...... Really worth the extra cost. The other pools were perfect as well, clean and tidy. Great experience all round; we... More

This accommodation option was by far our favourite of our recent trip to n.z. It was fantastic value for money and although it was a dated park it was very clean and well set out with all the little extras to make your stay easy. We stayed in the self-contained unit accommodation with little extras like shaving set and toothbrush.... More

I had read the website about these pools so I was not expecting something flash, which it isn't. The lane pool which is a decent size is cold. The medium sized pool is a good temperture but not big enough to do more that sit and chat as I did with my friend. Then there is a very small pool... More

We stayed a night in the tourist flat. It looked old and depressing outside but was OK inside.it was clean and freshly painted. The bed was good and the bedding was new. The pools are badly in need of an upgrade. In the morning they were empty and being cleaned not ready to use as advertised in the brochure. The... More

We stayed a night before heading off to Hobbiton the next day. The rooms were old but clean. The toilets and showers are located outside the rooms. A bit inconvenient to take a bath and go to the toilet. Bath and toilet are clean though. Towels are not provided although one could use for a fee. The manager was easy... More
