Nice location, close to key attractions. Clean and tidy enough. Not a 5 star complex but could do with a coat of paint especially the pool. Has a few nice touches like herbs growing, covered bbq and small tv room with books., different levels and pockets. Pity smokers occupied the bbq area most of the time. Beware you have to...

Booked a powered site for one night. So underwhelmed to say the least. Our site was opposite what looked to be permanent residents staying in small caravans that were there for good. Not a great feeling when you are on holiday and that's your view. Toilets and showers - don't know what to say! Seemingly cleaned 3 x a day,...

We only spent one night here at the last minute, as a convenient stop in our last night of holiday and was very pleasantly surprised. The family room was more spacious than we expected, very comfortably set up and with very good amenities. The pools were great too. We will definitely come back for a longer visit to enjoy the...

Clean but older facilities. Very friendly staff gave good first impression. Fantastic thermal pools. We didn't use private pool but main pools really good. Not the most modern camp site you would find but quiet, and loved. New management have obviously started to breathe new life into the camp. We used our van so can't comment on accommodation blocks. Nice...

Good points: Quiet, clean. Bad points: Pricy, no phone signal (hence, no internet). Kinda far from town. I stayed in one loft near the bathrooms (not so clean, weak showers). Hot pools are ok, but not THAAAT hot.

We enjoyed the Private Pool for 1/2 hour and it was amazing. The steps lead down to a gate which you lock behind you. You enter, what seems an ancient stone pool in the rainforest, surrounded by trees and bamboo, oblivious to the outside world. The sounds of birds and running water (it's part of a rainforest stream) just sets...

This campsite feels like a hidden locals only gem. It's a little worn around the edges and could do with some scrubbing and major bathroom renovations, but it has a cool vibe of being off the main trail. The private spa was a unique experience. You definitely feel like you are part of a long history of bathers who have...

Stayed one night and parts of the camp were rather run down. We had a campervan on a powered site ($40.00 a night) what we found a little off putting when on holiday was being put amongst what we think were long term residents who were smoking and drinking and wandering around with beer bottles. We're no prudes but felt...

We arrived late after our trip to Hobbiton, and had not pre-booked. We were met by a very friendly host, and given a variety of choices on where to park our car, depending on our needs. It was slightly out of season, so not very crowded. The fascilities were alright, the showers and toilets worn out, but fairly clean. The...

Vanessa was very helpful throughout our stay. The place was clean, warm and had everything you could need. The changing rooms for the pool could do with being done up, but other than that they were brilliant.
