Detailed Reviews
the place has a great position and is ideal for families. the accomodations are good and comfortable. the beach is close and nice. the animation for children is very good. Nevetheless, I made a reservation via internet and was easy and clear, after that, the contract was only in French, I was not able to communicate with the structure since there is no mail or other way to do it. once i tried to call via phone and the recorded message was only in french while the person picking up the phone was not able to speak english. i contacted Belambra via facebook, an answer was promised within 12h, after 28 days I'm still waiting for it. at the check-in i received the bar-card, after i ordered the first drink, i discovered €16,80 were already charged. I asked information at the reception about it but the person was not speaking enlgish and told me it was for "taxes". I'm still trying to understand for what since was not mentioned iduring the check-in. I then decided to not order other drinks till the departure.

Response from Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Belambra Clubs - Omaha Beach
Responded Aug 16, 2022
Dear Domenico, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. We are very pleased that you chose to stay with us and that you appreciated our location not far from the beach. We greatly appreciate your kind comments about our dedicated team who do work hard to ensure that we deliver the best service and always meet your expectations. Every member of our team enjoyed catering to your needs as much as you enjoyed your stay. However, feedback from our recent guests is always useful in helping us to highlight areas for possible improvement and we have taken note of your remark concerning having information available in English. We hope to see you on a future stay or to welcome you in another of our 58 holiday clubs in France. Best wishes, Juliette, Service Relation Clients Belambra

Very good stay in this Belambra club. We had a 2 bedroom house with a sea view. The accommodation is quite dated but well equipped. The living room is quite small but the bedrooms and bathroom are good.
The staff is very pleasant, attentive and always offers good advice. The director gives of himself to liven up the evenings, he always has a smile, very pleasant.
The people at reception are very nice and the person at the bar makes very good cocktails.
Access to this beautiful beach is incredible. Magnificent beach.
The club is quite isolated but it is very relaxing.
The 2 children's play areas are quite minimal but they have the merit of existing and entertaining the children.
We spent a pleasant week at this club.

at the club mid/September 2022, the restaurant has already closed "a shame"
well located with direct access to a fine sand beach.
American cemetery 15 minutes walk
many small shops and farms for shopping in the nearby surroundings.

The location is ideal (Omaha Beach and the American cemetery within walking distance) but that's it.
The club is very dilapidated but is not undertaking any renovation since its location guarantees it to be complete or almost complete.
This is the 2nd belambra that we have tested in 3 years (after the Gulf of Lozari in Corsica) and the observation is the same: no maintenance, dilapidated bungalow and very poorly arranged (bathroom/toilet in the kitchen, impossible to open the dishwasher completely because the kitchen is narrow). Only 2 out of 4 windows have been changed, which leaves the impression of patching up. Moldy bathroom, toilet and dishes full of limescale, cobwebs everywhere, bench seat not at all comfortable. Thin stream of water in the shower, no pressure. Once on the toilet, your knees touch the wall and we are not very tall. The sofa cover and tiles are from another time. The curtains are dirty and torn. It is time for Belambra to invest in renovating its clubs because for the same price competitors offer much better.

The site is exceptional because the residence allows you to have your feet in the water and you immerse yourself in the history of France. The cottages are correct but nothing more because the company does not seem to reinvest its dizzying profits in this residence which will be the future of holidays given the increasing temperature. No private parking and therefore sometimes you have to park very far away. Consider a backpack for shopping. No special relationship with the Eolia club which is next door so if you come for the first time no chance of going catamaran or sand yachting only rent a kanoe or a paddle. Too bad with 86 cottages...

Belambra establishment really below expectations. Very old apartment in dire need of a thorough renovation (thermal and sound insulation, some windows to change: the air passes through...). Unmaintained accommodation, damp, mold, dirty (spiders, dust, dirt, questionable mattresses, musty smell, etc.). See the few photos. It is normal not to have all the comforts in this range of establishments (otherwise we move to a higher category) but the lack of hygiene and maintenance does not come into play. We expect a basic minimum which is not there. There is no longer any question here of standing. The residence, although present on a classified site, must benefit from at least an interior renovation.
Otherwise the location is very quiet with a magnificent view of Ohama Beach. The reception staff are helpful and welcoming. Ideal for children.
First and last experience with Belambra for poor quality housing

Pros: sea view ok, approaches maintained but muddy parkîng hole poorly maintained but lit at night, friendly staff but ignorant they know nothing about nothing , bar on site expensive but no choice, easy to access place
Apartment he calls it essential!
Depends for whom mediocre.
The bed in the sofa tortures your back, you get hurt on the metal, the cabinets smell musty too, the bathroom worthy of the 70s the toilet stuck between the radiator, cracked sink, evacuation does not work, fridge clean but rust even the door in me bottom, dishwasher butcher runs, report to the reception no one came!
Activities children of 11 years hide hide while bicycles, sailing float on site, basketball, fishing.
Fortunately paid at a fair price per showroom 25 eur per night (excluding physio costs)
Choose your apart pictures misleading there are some under renovation
Pond right outside hotel for more midges and mosquito great idea
See photos and reply from Belambra surely justifying

the location is great, especially with the beach and the American military cemetery nearby. The welcome was warm, and Things to do during the day allowed us to entertain every moment of our holiday. The teen club and the evenings were varied which allowed us to enjoy every moment. In addition the animators were kind and knew how to entertain our holidays.

Very pleasant stay! (5 stays in total and we will definitely return!)
Friendly staff and fun evening aperitifs!
We come back every year during the Normandy landings commemorations because the Club is located in the middle of all the visits and museums to do in the area!

Bonjour,
Bonne vacances
