My husband and I booked one night at Kasbah Angour for my family (four adults) visiting us from the US over the holidays. I made the mistake of only booking for 1 night. If we could plan it again, we would have stayed additional nights here and made the easy drive into Marrakech! This was my family's favorite location over...

We enjoyed our three nights here very much, though the hotel was very empty. Gardens and views are gorgeous and the rooms warm and comfortable. This is a place to come to relax and enjoy the peace - and, probably, a place to avoid if you like noise, musak and entertainment that you don't make for yourself. Food is simple...

We have been here recently for three nights during our three center holiday in Morocco and what a fantastic place to visit and stay. After the hustle and bustle of Marrakech it was a world of difference to be in wonderful countryside with views to die for. We were met by the English owner who is a great guy and...

This is a fantastic retreat high in the Atlas mountains and a 40 minute cab ride from the madness of Marrakech. Beautiful accommodation, wonderful food, great walking trips available and excellent care from Paul and his superb team. We hope to come back soon! Vernon

There is something about Paul, the Owner of the hotel, running around frantically organising things that are reminiscent of Basil Fawlty but the similarity ends there. The rooms are good, the food is fine and the staff work hard to look after you. Eating dinner in the room with the bar whilst a yoga group use the dining room exclusively...

Thank you for posting your review which I found amusing in the spirit that I hope you intended. Many readers will be unaware that Fawltly Towers was a UK television series in the 1970s featuring the exploits of Basil Fawlty, the proprietor of a small characterful hotel in Torquay, England. Unfortunatley, Tripadvisor was not around in the 1970s so we...

We stayed here for 3 days over Christmas. The setting is magnificent. The food was fantastic. Paul is super nice and the rest of the staff is very attentive and kind. The pictures on their website do not do the place justice. It is far more gorgeous than the pictures show.

Do you know when you have left a place feeling ripped off by one of your 'own'? I stayed 1 night and paid 170 dirhams for a tagine that would have been 50 dirhams in Marrakech Medina (and better tasting). I don't forgive over-charging - there was no need given the price you are paying to stay there.

Sadly we feel that you are being unfair. We try very hard to offer good value and are totally transparent in our pricing. Readers should know that you came for lunch the day before your stay in order to say hello to your sister who was amongst our guests. We were delighted to find that you liked Kasbah Angour so...

My sister and I stayed at the Kasbah Angour for 3 nights in early November. It's amazing to think it was built from scratch a few years ago. Our rooms were magnificent - very spacious and A Moroccon influence. It was the most peaceful place I have ever stayed and I live in the country in Australia. The owner Paul...

Kasbah Angour was a perfect choice of hotel to unwind for three nights before heading to the dynamic and busy city of Marrakech. We arrived late in the evening but were met by charming, attentive staff who served a delicious meal even though it was after hours. We were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded to a suite which...
