Our family of 4 (mom, dad and 2 teenage sons) stayed here in July to watch the Tour de France on Col du Tourmalet. Coming from the US, these few days were a highlight of our trip and a true "Backdoor Experience" for us. The house is spotless, perfectly appointed with original antiques yet also with up to date bathrooms/showers....

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this lovely chambre d'hote in July. The house was extremely comfortable, the decor most attractive and food was delicious. Location was fantastic with magnificent scenery within easy reach. Highly recommended!

We (2 parents, 2 adolescents) stayed for three nights in this nice chambres d´hotes in Campan. It is a wonderful base for discovering the pyrenees and we had a great time. A couple of years ago the owner has taken over this place from a French family and did a great Job refurbishing and modernizing it. Good breakfast and an...

I had a wonderful time in this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owner always helped us to find nice places to visit, to eat, helped to find a bus and gave us ride. The bedrooms were lovely and it was nice to sit next to the fireplace. I can higly recommend Maison Lacoste.

Everything we needed for a wonderful few days in the mountains. Especially enjoyed sitting by the log fire at night after enjoying a hearty meal in the farmhouse. Easy drive to Bagnere for the saturday market or to try some of the cosy restaurants in the town, up to La Mongie to ski or Payolle for snowshoeing/cross country skiing. Very...

Don't hesitate to stay at this charming chambre de'hote. Chris has done an amazing job to create a beautiful authentic French country house. Interior is beautifully appointed and the rooms have everything you need and more. Good breakfast and charming host make for a wonderful stay. Views are terrific and the Campan valley has so much to offer.

Elspeth and I had a wonderful 5 day stay in Chris' B&B. It was everything we needed. Comfortable accommodation, a friendly host, a good location with access to nearby towns, villages, mountain passes and walks in the mountains & valleys. Two hours in the Spa baths chilling out set the scene for stunning drives.

This beautiful B&B at the foot of the Tourmalet and Aspin passes in the Pyrenees offered every comfort I could have asked for. The house itself has bags of character all of which has been wonderfully preserved and (added to) by Chris' careful and sympathetic renovations. I stayed for two weeks whilst researching the passes of the Tour de France...

This chambre d'hôte nestled at the bottom of the Pyrénées is delightful. Chris' hospitality really is second to none. The accommodation itself is clean, airy, bright and comfy. What is particularly special about this house is all the pieces of unique antique furniture - every room has been furnished uniquely. The garden & balcony offer lovely places to sit in...

“Any room is good”

“The only downside to the maison is the fact that it is located next to the road. This is, however, the case for most of the places in that area since the houses were built around the streets. The traffic dies down during the night so it is actually quiet until early morning. Rooms are all nice.”
