Apricale is a gorgeous destination, if you are wanting to head a bit off the road on the Italian Riviera. A beautiful ancient city on top of a hill with beautiful views and a lovely ambiance. Apricus Locanda is an excellent place to stay, especially if you are up for a bit of romance. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The...

My husband booked this hotel as a surprise anniversary present and he could not have chosen better. Jeanette greeted us as we drove into the medieval village, she assisted us with parking and warmly welcomed both us and our little dog. The room was simple and pretty with gorgeous views and much attention to detail - in fact the small...

A restaurant with a good menu and daily specials. The house wines including prosecco are good value too. The outdoor seating offers good views across the steep, wooded valley whilst allowing you to people watch on the Main Street through the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. English spoken too!

The location of Apricus Locandi is stunning, just on the approach to the medieval village of Apricale, a moderate walk uphill. There seems to be ample parking on the road just outside. We received a very warm welcome from Janette, who continued to provide exceptional service, hospitality and attention to detail throughout our stay. The property is just beautiful and...

This place is so perfect, and Jeannette was such a lovely host. Her attention to detail is the reason why this place feels so special. I just want to go back and stay there forever. My favorite aspects: insane balcony with a view, the gorgeous pool with rosemary and lavender growing all over the edges, and the cute pockets around...

Stayed last week in June in one of Jeanette's houses in the village. The house was superb. We could have stayed forever. It is renovated to the highest standard and from the moment you walk through the door you can't help but be impressed. There is a lovely patio for eating and drinking and a lovely roof terrace for sunbathing...

This place was exactly what we wanted and was looking for. It is so tatefully renovated with the deepest respect to the surroundings and the result is stunning. Located in the start of Apricale it has parking just outside the door, the entrance is not suitable for highheels or big heavy suitcases. But once inside you will be rewarded. We...

A few of us have just returned from A wonderful stay at this stunning property. From the minute we arrived Jeanette was so welcoming. Together with the breathtaking views and the fact that the rooms were decorated very tastefully, we all loved this place and we all plan to return! Cracking breakfast too! Thanks again Jeanette.

Apricus Locanda was our first stop in Liguria. My husband and I stayed here for four nights and would have stayed longer if our schedule had allowed it. The location is perfect for visiting hill towns in the area, and it's close to Dolceacqua where supplies and restaurants can be found. Apricale itself has several great restaurants, so if you're...

Many folks here have described A.L. very accurately. No need to repeat it all again. Absolutely awesome place!!! Jeanette really makes you feel at home. :) I suppose, for people new to Apricale, it is important to understand that this place is not -in- Apricale itself. It is on the approach to village and there is decent walk up the...
