Beautiful village and very nice staff. Not much English spoken, but a little French and sign language gets you all the way. The rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and the bathrooms were really modern and nice. A great experience for the whole family, from eight to forty. The village has some really nice restaurants. And a nice pizza... More

Definitely something different. Place is so quiet, has so breathtaking views and very charming rooms inside castle. Very modern and spacioIus bathroom and every room is a bit different than the other. And they way to the hotel was BEAUTIFUL. Breakfast was quite average, but it was included in the price. Wi-Fi was free, but didn't work properly. I would... More

Rooms so small you can hardly turn. Squeaky place you will hear every step from other rooms and from the street, you might like furnishings but I just didn't. Personal is very kind though and cleanness was OK, at breakfast they served some typical local specialties so it was quite good. There was no WiFi available in the hotel!

Stayed here last week. Wonderful room, wish we could have stayed longer. Staff very helpful especially Emannuela. Breakfast splendid. Check there website, they have really made an effort, with 40 different rooms/suites throughout the village. If Apricale isn't a world heritage site it should be. Has to be seen to be believed, one for your bucket list! If you are... More

When you are just close to Apricale, you wonder how it could be they built a village here some 1000 years ago. When you look for the hotel , you are already in the village and viceversa! The hotel uniqueness is its widespread along the village with 42 rooms/apartments/suites depending on your budget/preference. Here you must leave your car outside... More

As an expat living in the South of France I regularly visit the north or Italy for a refreshing smile and customer service which lacks here in France. Apricale is a beautiful village that I have visited several times along with the other villages in the valley. The hotel is very unique that is built through out the town. Check... More

We discovered the hotel by chance.... And we have been very lucky! The surrounding is absolutely astonishing, it is like a jump back in the past: you find yourself in a medieval little village completely made of stone, narrow streets, which go up and down the hill! The 40 rooms of the hotel are spread all around the village, each... More

Amazing concept with individual rooms around this unspoilt medieval hill top town. Every room a one off. We stayed in the suite named Portico which was on 2 levels. The bathroom and sitting area with small kitchen was below the galleried bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase - not great in the middle of the night!! Truly a unique experience.... More

We stayed here for one night for New Year's Eve. The staff were helpful but be advised that you will have to carry your bags along the narrow streets and up the steps to get to your room. Tastefully and comfortably restored yet still very authentic.
