I booked in for one week I would say it's a hotel / guest house. I was met by their airport shuttle that was on time to pick me up. When we arrived at the hotel I was met by staff that took my bag and checked me in very quickly and efficiently. The rooms were very large they contained a king-size bed and a single bed a coffee pot great air conditioning flat screen TV refrigerator they had all the bath items you needed as well as free water every day. The rooms were cleaned everyday the staff were great always a smile on their face always a good morning or good afternoon when you would pass through reception. It's just around the corner from the beach I would say 100 to 150 M so the location is actually perfect in my opinion. I had read some reviews where there was a problem that some guests had with internet during my stay the Wi-Fi was very very fast and stable I was able to stream IPTV without any buffering or freezing which made it very pleasant I will without question stay here on my next trip as well I highly recommend it. I am in no way affiliated with the green Hotel this is my honest review of the property. The location was only about 800 m from the Samui Central Shopping Center and they also have a night market behind the shopping center on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays which was nice.

For me and my friend quality-price ratio was perfect. From staff you get help for everything and they are awesome. Near is markets, pharmacy and good restaurants. If wanna go train, Superpro Samui is very close with scooter. Good bars are close with taxi too.

No access to many stairs Although clean rooms are clean, they do not have shower fungi We wanted to cancel the hotel owner approved and promised a refund if you rent the rooms. In the end the room was rented but we did not receive our money. We feel cheated Save from this hotel In addition, there are some of Malof's neighboring Sanja works with heavy and noisy engineering tools

Possible the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The bed is rock solid, the pillows are equally as awful. The hotel is as clean as can be expected for the price. Hotel doesn’t have much around it, as it’s a fair walk away from the nightlife and daytime stuff. Wouldn’t be staying here again, the one night was bad enough to make me move the next day.

The Samui Green Hotel is a clean, functional hotel close to Chaweng Beach, night market and the nightlife The rooms are spacious, Wi Fi, Aircon and showers all work perfectly and it all comes at a very reasonable price (even more reasonable if you book directly with the hotel). I have just spent my fourth vacation there and would have to say that the main selling point for me are the owners and staff who could not be more friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable stay in Chaweng without having to part with a fortune for the experience. I'll be back in Koh Samui in December and guess where I'll be staying!!

Stayed here for 9 days with my girlfriend. Overall thought everything was very good. Pros: Fast WiFi and nice TV Large room, large bed, and good sized bathroom. Air conditioning and shower heater both worked perfectly. Staff is all very friendly and helpful. Pretty good restaurant downstairs with Thai and some international food. Cons: A tiny bit far to center of Chaweng. About 20 minutes walking... but then, that’s walking so didn’t even need a taxi or motorbike or anything. So really, not even that big a con. Nothing else. Good place really.

Very friendly staff, seems to be family run place. Good WIFI connection. Very large rooms with a nice big king size bed. Very close to the beach, the hotel is right next to the beach access road. You don’t open your door and walk on to the beach like some other beach side hotels, but you also don’t pay an arm and a leg and you’re close enough to the beach. Good location, just a short 10 minute walk northward to the main party area, but still quite a few bars around if you don’t want to go that far. Near a night time only eating area. Lot’s of good Thai food, seafood at pretty good prices. The hotel is also near a road that leads to a Thai village off the tourist track with better prices and more authentic Thai food. It also has a morning wet market where only locals shop. If you want an entirely local off the beaten track experience, then give this place a walk through in the morning.

Preface: I stayed as a solo traveler in this hotel. I was there for 5 nights and stayed in a King room with garden view. The cost was 6450 Thai Baht and breakfast was not included. The good points: The price is very good but you get what you pay for so I was not expecting the Ritz. The room was a decent size and the staff were friendly. There is a restaurant area on the ground floor with very reasonably priced meals. The bad points: The WiFi was terrible. This was a problem for me as although I could make free calls and texts on my roaming plan, it only allowed limited data. I tried a number of the access points but they either didn't work or were too slow to be useful. My other gripe was the rock hard mattress. I needed to place all of the available sheets on top of the mattress to make it a bit more comfortable and it was tough going. I woke several times with pins and needles. Be very wary of this as feeling tired on holiday puts you in a bad mood fast. The walk from the hotel to the center of Chaweng is a lot further than you would expect. Some of the road back is dark and I noticed quite a few shadowy figures at night. I am not saying they were up to no good but if I was a lady on her own, I would not have been too comfortable.
