Very nice place has a very good restaurant. Got free breakfast which was fantastic had a choice of 2 types of breakfast. We had a supper meal and was very good. The staff are very helpful and kind. Our room was up a bit of an incline so got some good exercise. They have a little golf cart that will take you down to the main road. If you need to go anywhere they will get you a ride or just go to the road and catch one there. . We had a problem with the water as we had no hot water for our showers' and reported it to the front desk who did come and fix. There were 2 bedrooms the main had a queen size bed and a bathroom off the bedroom the other bedroom had 2 double bed and a bathroom off but was also to be used as the main bathroom if needed. There was a tv in the small living room for the kitchen they supplied water everyday. There was a private pool which was nice. It was a very nice place and would recommend to stay.

On average we had a pleasant stay. However, there were some frustrating things. At first, room service always forgot to bring us water bottles and we had to buy them ourselves. The problem is not the price of the water but the fact that we didn't have transport and the shops were really far. The hotel was far from the center and on a hill so you definitely need to rent a car or motorcycle. The second most frustrating thing is that we were charged a lot (can't remember the price exactly but around 50 euros) for a sheet and a pillowcase that my girlfriend colored due to her monthly gynecological issue. Apart from that the staff was polite and helpful and we were offered a free transfer to the airport when leaving. The pool was very nice but it gets quickly dirty with bugs and leaves. The room was clean and as shown in the pictures online.

Dear basilakisgra, Thank you very much for sharing your experiences at our resort! Regarding to the room service and drinking water, it might be a missed communication as actually we do set up complimentary bottle of water in the villa and some guest will be using them rather than ordering, anyway we have well noted on your comment and will pass the message to our team and provide a better service and communication. We are truly sorry to hear that you were charged for the bedding and pillow case, we have well noted. We always find the staff and services are important to delivery to all of our guest and we are very happy yo read that they were polite and helpful during your stayed and able to organized the transfer for you upon departure. We do hope to welcome you back to our beautiful resort. Best regards, Baan Talay Pool Villa Team

We stayed in a three room apartment not through choice but because our original hotel overbooked...the villa is lovely pretty spectacular really with three large double bedrooms all ensuite and very clean. Private pool which was a nice touch...location up a very steep hill which was not a problem for us as we hired a car but if you are there car free be warned it very steep and long walk. My only problem with this place was the sound of barking dogs all night it was horrendous...not sure if they are someone’s pet fogs or just wild dogs either way they were a bloody nuisance especially at 2am in the morning. Breakfast just ok nothing special.

Peace and Quiet means isolation from civilization and all the hustle and buzzle. The nearest Seven Eleven takes about 10 to 15 minutes drive to get there. That goes for the main thoroughfare. It means that you "will not" have any vehicle traffic, much less sign of any human around for a good 1 to 3 miles radius. As for the hotel itself, we have a 2 bedroom fit for 2 couples (2 bathrooms with shower). 3 outdoor pools, and private beach (must wait when water recede in the morning. Otherwise, the sea comes all the way up to the sea wall). The sea breeze is fantastic. There is the main building that is multi-stories, and very nice bungalow homes for rental. If you want a civilized place to stay with all the amenities but without a huge crowd and noisy teens or twenty something acting like idiots this is the place for you.
