We came to Palm Island after being completely disgusted by the condition of our room at Baan Rom Mai and whilst it cost £295 for three nights (between Christmas and New Year) we were relieved to have found a little bunglow here. The interior was great, clean and the bathroom had marble tiles. the pool area was fantastic and besides...

This is the worst hotel ever! It has a lovely pool and is right on the beach but they took us around the back of the hotel to our room! Which looked at least 50 years old! We had no window! The walls were filthy, the sheets weren't clean, our tap dripped all night, the air con made us so...

This hotel is well located and good value for beachfront. Is is starting to show it's age and the rooms are smaller but you stay for the staff and the beachfront position, it is where you want to be. Hanging on the side of the pool looking at the beach 2 meters away says it all. The staff were great,...

Firstly, I would say don't be put off by the other reviews. We found the service at Palm Island to be friendly, helpful and honest. There is a secure safety deposit box system in operation which we used, so we were never worried about our valuable items. The location of Palm Island is towards the Northern end of Chaweng Beach....

We stayed here for a couple of weeks, and turns out that they stole a watch, money, visa card, a ring... Tried talking to the management but no help, not even an apology. Anyways, i stayed here when i was a kid, much better memories than staying here now.. Not coming back.

Now it depends what kind of traveller you are for me this place was way to expensive for me. Im more of a partier so this place would not be a great location if you came to party on this island because its on the quiet part of the beach, if you are bringing your family then yes its definitely...

We had a lovely time in Ko Samui, however we were horrified and shocked to discover that we had money robbed from us by our bags been thourghly checked and carefully put back in the same position. We are quite upset and disappointed that...

Stayed at Palm Island Hotel in February and the experience was pretty good. The rooms and pool area was kind of dated but it fine for the price. The staff were helpful and organised transfer and boat to Koh Tao for us. Location was good as it was close to the main action in Chaweng but still quite when you...
