Cannot recommend enough. Brilliant hotel, clean big rooms. The beaches beautiful, sea warm x clear. No room for sunbathing on beach sea comes right up to hotel but can walk along beach when tide our (gorgeous walk). Ate at hotel one evening excellent food and very good service made to feel so special. Free transport into town where there is plenty to do. Must also recommend a great restaurant first left doesn't look much but amazing food x big portions be warned. Loved it so much. Oh and I asked if they had yoga mat they said didn't have one 2 days later one was bought specially for me to use. Good gym too

To clarify - we didn’t stay here not eat here, we just stopped off for a coffee and a cold drink. It was a bit of an awkward greeting, felt like we shouldn’t be there as we weren’t hotel guests (maybe staff aren’t used to walk ins I’m not sure). We were then charged 190 baht for a double espresso which was a major rip off - we’ve not been charged that anywhere else in Thailand, even in proper fancy restaurants! It’s a shame they charged that price as it was actually a really pleasant place to sit, and feel a cool breeze from the sea, but we won’t be going back there again.

If you’re looking for somewhere away from the noise of Chaweng but only a 3 minute ride away, then we can highly recommend Chaba Cabana. The staff were amazing. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choice and the pool area was lovely too. If you want a beach holiday, this is probably not for you. The tiny beach is tidal and very small. We prefer the pool so this wasn’t an issue for us. Definitely recommend this resort. We are hoping to return next year.

Hotel has been totally renovated and is a excellent job . The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome and make you want to return. Pool and bar area always clean comfortable ideal for relaxing. The rooms cleaned and kept to very high standard . This is our first time back in three years due to covid and will be returning again . Staff do wonderful with customer service Nothing is to much trouble

Freat location at the northern end beachside of Chaweng, far enough away but close enough too , the hussle and bussle of Chaweng main beach. This hotel looks like it has been refurbished with excellent room standards throughout.We were fortunate to have the ground floor room by the pool / restaurant. Excellent breakfast witha wide selection , attentive staff throughout this family owne hotel. Nothing was a problem and we will certainly return . Fifteen ninutes walk to town centre of a taxi 5 minutes.

Really liked my time here, nice and quiet, as it is a little ways from Chaweng beach. No complaints whatsoever. Staff was great, breakfast was good, and the grounds were in good shape. Not a very lively scene, so not a place to go if you are looking to party

Nice, but expected more based on pictures. Staff is very friendly, breakfast and breakfast area nice, pool bar as well. We stayed in a villa close to the water. It is nice and spacey for two, cleaning very good too. However, the neighbor may disturb you with their nightly activities as isolation between the rooms are not enough, You can even hear them speak. The biggest minus is that there is really no beach to speak about, maybe only in very very low tide which we did not experience in Dec. As we enjoy long walks on the beach, this hotel does not connect to the Chaweng beach, so long beach walks was not possible from the hotel. Unless you swim perhaps. You have to walk up the hill and then 5-10 minutes for a beach walk (which you don’t want to in a bikini 😆). Location wise the same thing for the center, but it is easy to grab a tuk tuk for 50 baht each to Chaweng Center. Walking takes 15 minutes in a busy road.…

The service we received was first rate. S made us always feel at home. Rooms were comfortable and cocktails were lovely. The Ocean was beautiful and warm. The pool was immaculate and totally enjoyable. The location and proximity of the hotel to Chaweng town was also convenient.

An excellent hotel with a special atmosphere, courteous and fast service, the staff is always attentive, suitable for those who want calm, at the same time, the center of the island is a short drive to everywhere if you have a scooter. We really enjoyed the place and will definitely return

We had a brilliant time at Chaba Cabana. The staff were so friendly and it was evident that every guest experience mattered to them. Every single staff member greeted us with a ‘sawadee’ regardless of what they might be in the middle of. Really warm and welcoming and friendly. They provide free use of paddle boards for guests and the hotel also arranged some good day trips. We booked a speedboat trip to pig island and had an awesome day. The hotel location was perfect for us, it was quiet but still only a 30 minute walk to the bars and shopping centre. The hotel run a free shuttle to the Siam shopping centre too. It’s located on the beach. The rooms were lovely and newly renovated. The food in the pool bar was delicious. We ordered snacks a few times to share. We also ate in the restaurant on our last night and the food was lovely there too. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning when we go back to Koh Samui.…
