iyara is well located right on Chaweng Beach. It is very handy to the shops, markets and restaurants right outside its doors. The service and staff are ok but I've experienced much better! There were major drainage issues with this and other properties at this time due to some unseasonal rainstorms.

It is sad that this hotel is at an excellent location but has mediocre facilities/housekeeping. On the first day we checked in, we found our room to have faulty air conditioning. With the hot weather in Samui, we understand that aircond compressors spoil easily as they are overworked. But we deserve to get rooms with working facilities for what we...

Visited the restaurant for lunch today, and I am completely lost for words at how shocking both the service and the quality of food was. Ordered soups to start, these arrived, along with the main, which was then left uncovered, and served cold. Staff were rude and reluctant to be of any assistance. We waited almost 15 minutes after sitting...

First of all, booked this hotel mainly due to price and location on the beach. If staying in this part of the island do book a hotel on the beach. Taxi to hotel cost €14 for two with luggage on a mini bus. Taxi back cos €10 for 2 private taxi so price around. 1. Sheets dirty and shower curtain...

I booked here as I got what I thought a very good deal. I got a great rate on what I believed was meant to be a 4-star hotel. This is really a 3-star hotel, with only the prices being 4-star. This was by no means a bad hotel, but I think that if you paid full price you would...

We stay at the hotel 6 night and the service was very bad... We didn't have a WiFi 5 night every day the reception told us tomorrow the WiFi will be fixed, but nothing happened, the answer that we get from the manger bee was not helpful and she ignored us and send her stuff to smile and to do...

very good service at reception, Mr Ton answered all my emails, and booked a car for us to be met at the airport. The hotel also provides its own scooters for hire, and it is right in the centre of all the amienaties in Lamai

When we first got here we were given a room (313) which looked okay and smelled like mold and cigarettes. It also had an enormous step in the room. We are traveling with our 16 month old so I needed to switch rooms, which they accommodated (hence the generous 2 star rating). The second room (315) had about 400 mosquitos...

In short if you are staying on chaweng choose another hotel. If you aren't bothered about staying in chaweng stay on bangrak beach or fishermans village. Stayed here for three nights and upon check in we were shown to our room where 1. The aircon was rattling making an extremely loud noise but was fixed temporarily and 2. After waiting...
