Stayed here for 3 nights for my Quarantine Hotel At the time of booking, everything was explained very clearly & promptly Minibus driver was there to meet me at the airport Arrived hotel, got a free room upgrade sea-view room Lovely big room, great view out over the pool towards the sea Super friendly helpful staff I would stay here again no problem
I arrived as part of the Samui plus scheme to enter Thailand and had to stay in Samui for seven days first. I contacted a various amount of hotels and was pleasantly surprised with Baan Hin resort as they replied very promptly and gave all the required information that I needed. I arrived in October and I was pleasantly surprised the staff were very tentative and not overbearing wise and I was looked after extremely well. As for the resort it's a mixture of modern and traditional Thai and the rooms are kept immaculate and very roomy and the beds very comfy. Thery have a few pools to choose from which is nice as it was very hot and very to easy to relax, the grounds surrounding are enriched with tropical plants and it is very beautiful. The restaurant is amazing very spacious and modern and the food and hospitality was outstanding. The location was excellent local areas easy to access I would definitely stay here again and I'm very glad that I picked this resort as part of my Samui plus scheme. Wayne…
Staying here for 7 nights as part of Samui Plus programme. The staff make my stay! They are genuinely nice and always make sure everyone enjoys their stays. Thanks everyone for the hospitality. Without the pleasant staff, the experience in this property would have been two-star. Under Samui Plus regulations, all ALQ hotels are extremely overpriced. The value for money staying here is outrageous. Baan Hin Sai is the cheapest option and it costs $1,000 for 7 nights. At this price range, one can stay in a five-star hotels especially with covid price. Phuket is a much better option; better value for money, less complicated with flights and more straight forward COE process. The hotel ground is beautiful; lush green garden and gorgeous 180 degrees sea view from the pool and restaurant. Unfortunately, the hotel is not well maintained, a few rubbish and construction materials here and there. It must be hard for them with only a handful of tourists these past two years. I stayed in a Sea view room. The room is quite spacious and bathroom is larger than standard hotel bathroom. Balcony has a jet tub which is quite nice. The hotel keeps most of the trees which is great but they block the “sea view”. I don’t mind that. The down point is furniture. They are all hard wood and so uncomfortable to sit back and relax. Wifi works great. I work while I’m here and have many video calls. They are all fine, no disruption. Food is not great here and low quality ingredients too ie the most sticky burger that I almost couldn’t cut. Having said this, restaurant staff are attentive. They go above and beyond with their service. Overall experience is good enough but I won’t repeat Samui Plus ever again. Big thanks to all the staff!! You are brilliant!…
Ban hin sai was a great place for my family to enter thailand following quarantine regulations. Staff is super friendly, managed by a family who went out of their way to accommodate us. For example by Creating safe entry to the sea from the rocks. The pools are spacious, well designed and carefully cleaned Lots of space for children to be outside and a beautiful restaurant overlooking the magnificent horizon. Health food options are somewhat limited so my main feedback for improvement.
The hotel is very nicely located. You have a very nice sea view from the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They are very helpful and give everything to make the guests feel comfortable. The internet connection is stable and fast. The food is very good and varied. You also get large portions. I am very satisfied with the services.
Staff very kind, nice smile, location was nice good atmosphere, swimming pool were clean, We order thai food very tasty. Receptionist very nice thanks to Kul for good take care us. We will be back. Recommend this hotel for every one.
Not bad for what you pay. The breakfast has a small but good selection and the view is incredible with two pool areas to choose from. However, it is hilly and although you can walk around the resort, its easier to call the golf buggy. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the location is far from grocery shops and restaurants though they have a complimentary shuttle to chaweng 3 times per day. Nice stay but one night was enough for us. Looks like they were renovating so may be good to keep an eye on.
An anazing place with an incredible view, the room was clean and the staff were courteous and friendly. The only problem it’s that one of the girl at the front office, booked us the wrong ferry to go to the airport in chupong. Ps: the best see i ever saw.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Checked in & was helped carry my luggage to my room on a little cart. When I first checked in my first room. The safety deposit box was not working. So they upgraded me free of charge to another more luxury room. Which was lovely. Very clean. Good air con. Nice shower & bed. English t.v channels. Water & towels provided every day. There is s lovely pool located at the bottom of the hotel. Which I had pretty much to myself all day. Great views. Breakfast was the best Iv had so far travelling for one month. Shuttle into town. But there very adamant about you booking it 2 hours before. No more no less. This hotel is on the motorway & you can’t get to a shop either way as it’s dangerous. So stock up on anything you need before hand. They do sell snacks & cigarettes if there what you like. There is a lovely spa on the resort. Prices are what you would pay at home a lot cheaper in town. But if your looking for somewhere to chill for the rest of your travelling than this is a great place. All the staff are lovely. Get a tuk tuk into town & not a taxi. There much cheaper. If you do get a taxi? Make sure they put the meter on. Lesson learnt for me!! WiFi 50/50…
This place has very cool pools with amazing sea views, but no beach. Wifi works well anywhere you are in the hotel. Rooms are spacious, but a bit run down. It includes daily breakfast with decent coffee and limited food choices for both western and Asian tourists. Location is halfway between Lamai and Chaweng Beach. They have a beautiful restaurant facing the sea, but it's currently closed and food choices aren't within walking distance so you either get on a songtaw or get a taxi. Staff was always friendly and very helpful!
