This hotel is disgusting. Please see my photos attached, do not stay here. The whole spa seen on the photos on booking.com and other websites is a scam- see again my photos of the jacuzzi! The full spa is out of order/closed The pool is partially closed. The area around the pool is dirty. The pictures are total false advertisement and should not be allowed. The rooms stink of urine, it’s dark and depressing, very old fashioned and the hotel grounds are run down and dirty and needs a full refurb and more. The lady on the desk has no idea what she is doing either. Avoid at all costs!!!

Horrid oppressive dark and damp. Breakfast mediocre, not enough fruit or coffee and no more appeared after asking twice. Staff disinterested-if you can even find anyone-like a ghost ship. Booked for 5 nights-stayed reluctantly for one night ONLY. Asked for partial refund but staff laughed. Basically this weird place is up a very steep hill-taxis refuse to take you to it. No shops, bars or restaurants within walking distance so you need transport. Pictures indicate it’s near the sea but it’s not. If you have mobility issues it would be dangerous.

Some rooms needs to be updated and a deep cleaned (It’s not Dirty, it’s just that it has build-up Grime). Our shower didn’t have running warm water…Can’t complain too much since Koh Samui is 78°F to 91°F all year round. They also got really good food for Lunch and Dinner. I absolutely love it. :D I’m a fan of Tom Yum. Their Tom Yum is really good. For my Westerner Friends, Tolerate the Lack of Western Food and try Thai Food since you’re in Thailand and not your Country of Origin.

Although very cheap, you don't even 'get what you pay for'. The rooms could do with a proper clean (especially the bathroom)!! Luckily we were only staying for 2 nights, but my god were we looking forward to a good shower on our return to Bangkok! Happy hour drinks were good price etc. and staff were very pleasant... Main recommendation is that the place needs to focus on maintaining what's currently there to a decent standard. This place has so much potential. The pool has a beautiful view, but that's literally all the place currently has to offer.

Hotel was great value for money in lots of places. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, especially the front of house manager Honey. This woman is extremely talented at her job and really did make the stay here go well. The other staff are friendly and polite, but there are language barriers with English. There are two pools, with great views and the gym is old school, but does everything that you need. There is a snooker table, dart board, table tennis and a games room. However this could all benefit from an upgrade and a little bit of time and money spent on it. The breakfast is substantial and the staff are friendly. There is a mix of western and Asian dishes. There is plenty of it and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Beware though people put food in bags and take it out when they are finished, leaving you having to wait for the replenishment. The rooms are gorgeous and have lots of space and everything you would expect in there. Ours was set around a rock, which was a nice feature. The water is hot and the beds are comfortable. The WiFi runs at a good speed and is throughout the property. There is a spa, steam room and sauna available on site. Again the sauna and steam could have a little bit of TLC and have some money spent on it. The rooms are cleaned OK and the timings of this can be anywhere from 9am to 3pm. The property could do with a little TLC in places and you must be warned that this is a hotel geared towards the Chinese and not westerners. Unfortunately due to culture there was a lot of noise and even though the pool area shuts this not deter people from swimming and drinking after hours. Staff did not enforce this and every night of our stay we were awoken due to this. There is a hill that is 100m up and the gradient is steep. This for a fit person is not a problem, but could be for other people depending on their health or fitness. Without this you would not have the views over the beautiful bay. Also worth noting that the road coming out of the hotel is a main road and quite hazardous. Summary is to ensure that some money is spent on the hotel and update the areas. Enforce your own rules and make sure all guests regardless of nationality are catered for. Possibly clean up around the pool and don’t allow glass items to be used and left there for some time! Not a bad place at all, but general management must indeed use some budget for updating and also give the place some TLC.

A really lovely hotel find! We were really impressed by lots of features of this hotel. Firstly the views you get are incredible! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Honey. The rooms are big, clean and have everything you need. Breakfast was good, it had a variety of food and eggs made to order. We only had one evening meal at the restaurant which was very nice. The hotel is up a steep hill and there’s not a huge amount to walk to at the bottom...we walked about 20/25 mins to a restaurant beach side, but this was at night and we had to be careful walking on the windy road! If you have a scooter (which we did for most of the time!) its ideal...only a few mins either way to get to Chaweng or Lamai. The only negative about this hotel was that some of the guests (who happened to be our neighbours!) were not very conscientious, shouting and slamming doors late at night. Overall, this hotel is really lovely and I would definitely recommend.

Would not call this as 4 star hotel. The room was dirty and run down. One of the pools was out of order. None of the staff speak very good English, so when you have an issue we found it very hard to resolve. The spa is very pricey compared to the main town 850 baht for a thai massage yet in the main strip in Chaweng we paid 200 baht. Service was slow and the staff were not observant. Food was ok but again overpriced for what it was. Choice of breakfast is terrible who wants noodles and fried chicken at 9am. If you have any requests it is hard to communicate this as they speak very little English. The room we had was a sea view room, the view was amazing however the bed was very hard, the air conditioning unit was very loud and there was ants in the room which bite throughout the evening, we woke up with bites all up and down our bodies. When we spoke to the management all they did was change the bed, this didn't help we still had the issue. Also if you drink tea and coffee you will need to rinse your cup out daily as they do not give you fresh ones. It was not all bad there was some positives. Remote location so great for a quiet break the views are really lovely, but you need to pay for a premium room to have a sea view again over priced for what you get. We hired a car through the hotel which was easy and fairly priced. A watch out, if you are going to hire a car I would recommend doing it through the hotel a lot of the locals ask you to leave your passport with them for insurance reasons, which we did not feel comfortable doing. The car hire through the hotel was easy all they needed was a copy of your driving license and they delivered it to the hotel and picked it back up again. Great service. All in all an ok hotel in a lovely location with the potential to be a 4* with proper management, some staff who speak good English to be able to communicate with visitors. Better standards of cleaning and maintenance required in the rooms. This could be a lovely resort.

I am going to write a rather useful review here as I found it extremely important to say the truth to give a bit of an idea to travelers who come from all over the world, which is usually a very long journey, what to expect. I and my partner decided to book this hotel based on two factors: price and location. Please note if you don`t wish to travel (by taxi or motorbike) to the beach every day, do not choose this hotel. (I never understood why people complaint about distance, when it's clear this is not a beach resort.) We didn`t mind this as the view is really amazing from this hotel and that was worth the travel (although it cost us a lot). We booked the Honeymoon suite which was amazing. I liked the style and it was really comfortable. Plus point is that the suite has got two separate room and both of them is air-conditioned. Important to know, they won`t clean your room every day, and the minibar is not free! But if you kindly ask them to clean, they will do. Overall the rooms were not outdated or dirty. The jacuzzi on the balcony is really nice. What I really didn't like is that nowhere they mention that out of all those beautiful pools, 3 of them is under construction !!!! That made me very disappointed, when we arrived, especially if customers do not wish to go out much during the day, then they all left with 2 pool. One is really old (20 years) and another is new. Very nice view from that pool tho. Don`t expect them to speak English perfectly. Almost nobody speaks the language so try to be patient. We didn't have any problem with the wifi, it was fast enough. Now, breakfast is out of order!!! Really bad. I am sorry to say but they really should consider reorganizing this whole breakfast thing. The staff is really not paying attention to the tables and the food itself is basically noodles and rice (what??? this is surely not what I would call Breakfast). They have Omlette, but it tastes nothing and no real bread or pastry. It is just poor. I only enjoyed the coffee, when the machine was working. My partner didn't even attend after the first breakfast. The people who work there are very nice and trying to be helpful (if you manage to communicate with them). So overall I think this is a great hotel for the price. I didn't regret choosing it.

Not to be recommended! First we got a room with a discusting smell. After complaining, we got another room. Then the hotel “forgot” to pick ud up by the mall. We had an agreement at 5 pm. We waited in the sun for 1 hour. Called the hotel - they put me on hold a long time and then hung up om me. Second call the hung up too. Called then 5 times on 3 different numbers to the reception. But they did not answer anymore. We must then pay for a taxi. The reception staff - 3 persons - had a lot of bad explanations. No help, no understanding. No one speaks english in a way, to be understood. Severel times, the derved dinner was served wrong. The bathroom was in very bad condition and the promised Wifi often not working. Yes - the view is great, but rest is NOT great. The pictures presented to “sell” the hotel, are not showing the real thing. We felt betrayed according to pictures and description
