Look this resort is a beautiful resort vey modern and some beautiful design features.our ocean front room was fabulous and of the best breakfast spreads I have seen.The staff were very friendly and helpful But in saying all that it is obvious there are a few designs flaws the architect didn’t visit the site in the afternoon to see where the sun location is by 3pm around the main pool there is no sun where the 34 sun lounge chairs sit .yes really 34 for a resort that has 140 rooms... The location is ok if you don’t want to go anywhere because you need a taxi if you do not much on the outside of the hotel as far as shops go either...

...It was everything what you dont expect in a 5 star hotel in thailand. Dozens of bags thrown on the lobby, people sleeping and thrown waiting for their rooms... Everything looked dark and dirty... Once in the room (a suite) it was facing another building, totally dark and no charm... We even considered cancelling the reservation and leaving the hotel... Anyway we finally stayed and we have to admit that after we were changed to another room with views, the stay was comfortable...

...I have an infant and young child so as you can imagine it was difficult, so I called the hotel and they said they can send one now- having to wait for them to arrive standing outside in the heat was a no no so we decided to take a taxi and they completely ripped us off... I found the staff to be rude and not helpful, I’ve stayed in koh samui hotels before and can tell you for the same price you can stay in excellent hotels with much better customer service- so do your homework...

...The hotel arranged all transfers for me for about 15 USD each way, and everything went smoothly... Grab cars were available for about 350 THB throughout my stay even if you had to wait sometimes 15 minutes for the driver to arrive, which felt ok considering you are staying on an island... Food at the restaurant was pricey for Thailand but the quality was incredible and all dishes were creative, which justified the price... I can’t recommend this hotel hotel and would come back anytime...

The hotel is beautiful, but it's isolated from the Samui action with nothing nearby to do unless you hire an overpriced car service, and the beach is slippery pebbles and rocks (not fine sand)... The hotel had charged us outside of the hyatt payment system, so we did not get our eligible nights in our Hyatt account and did not get the Hyatt points for our stay... We are disappointed to have to spend so much time and effort to get the Hyatt points that we should have gotten right after our stay... This experience has really marred our opinion of the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui... The hotel should have proactively resolved this issue long ago, instead of leaving us hanging like this...

Just finished another amazing and wonderful stay at the Hyatt Koh Samui... From our arrival, “Manee” and the reception staff were prompt, warm and attentive... The room and setting was well appointed and cared for daily by “Uan”... We connected with “Bea” who was the housekeeping staff from our first visit, she attends to another part of the property but it’s like seeing family... There is a beach front Restaurant & Bar Sesun with great staff “Ex”, “Tonse” and “One” had several cocktails and a wonderful evening dinner on the beach... The Regency Club upgrade is a nice well worth addition with a beautiful morning buffet with daily changing dishes, evening warm dishes and great service by Jane and her Club Team... Bank & Arthur are on site almost every day, feels like every hour, making sure we were comfortable and so well taken care of... The entire Hyatt Staff and Team were so pleasant and warm, we just enjoy spending time at this amazing property...

...When you go to a resort to relax you should not have to worry about being able to get a spot by the pool and yes there is another pool which is supposed to be an adult pool but families were force there because of the room and chair situation... Also in this day and age an expresso machine in the room would make for a far better experience than a kettle... The next morning I thought it would be great to have a cup of coffee on the balcony only to find no milk in the fridge called room service only to be informed room service didn’t start till 7am... On the whole the staff were good the resort was clean...

This was one of my best experiences at a Hyatt brand hotel. The staff was great, they contacted me prior to my stay to ensure that I had everything I needed for my trip, and to make sure any special requests was already taken care of prior to my stay... They also ensured that I had transportation from the airport to the hotel... The staff was amazing, the food was great and my room was exceptional...

We received a warm welcome and attentive service throughout the entire stay from the Hyatt staff, especially from Dalton and Juice!... Be sure to ask Dalton or Juice for any needs during your stay or ideas on what to do on the island...

...The hotel arranged all transfers for me for about 15 USD each way, and everything went smoothly. Service is incredibly proactive all around the property... Everyone seemed happy to work here and happy to help... Grab cars were available for about 350 THB throughout my stay even if you had to wait sometimes 15 minutes for the driver to arrive, which felt ok considering you are staying on an island... Quality was excellent, and extensive choices were available... Do note however that only wine and beers are available at night, no cocktails or liqueur... I was upgraded to a nice Regency suite with sea view and a large bathtub that could accommodate several people... Housekeeping was personalized and provided twice a day...

...Having travelled across the world and seen so many properties, I believe that the hotel industry is a hospitality industry and all they need to do is keep every customer satisfied with the experience. A person pays you so that you welcome him with happiness... Anyways, I immediately asked the hotel staff to call the manager... I asked her to suggest me if any arrangements can be done by the hotel for celebrating my wedding anniversary for which I would pay at the hotel... She simply said that you have been provided a small cake in your room and be happy with that... Later after enquiring, I came to know that the hotel does have cakes in one of its cafes... The hotel has employed some rookies from outside at their pool who do not have any manners to attend the customer and are simply laughing amongst themselves in their local language...

The hotel has a great atmosphere and infrastructure to support families to relax, feel safe, have fun, and for parents to have some free time... We especially appreciated the Camp Hyatt kids club that is designed to support young kids and older kids (fussball table, videogames, etc)... Many thanks to Manee, Got, and Bank for their top tier customer service and making my family feel loved...

It was a very happy stay, clean accommodation, delicious food. Thank you Khun Ton, staff of the SESUN restaurant for taking care of us table for dinner and recommending us various dishes and also introducing us to the main attractions in Koh Samui... And also make an ordinary night a special one with a surprise birthday dessert for us...

...As Hyatt Globalists, we were treated very well. While there, we stayed in the ocean view room, the Regency Suite, the Executive Suite, and also paid to upgrade to the presidential villa and one bedroom pool villa for some of the nights... The staff were great, especially at the regency club lounge... We contacted Hyatt and the hotel itself to request that points be posted to our account, and 3 months later, we still have not got all the points posted to our account... We are disappointed to have to spend so much time and effort to get the Hyatt points that we should have gotten right after our stay... The hotel should have proactively resolved this issue long ago, instead of leaving us hanging like this...

...They upgraded me to a plunge pool room and it was everything and beyond!... At check in we told Manee, the supervisor that we eat halal food and since we had purchased access to the regency club ( which I highly recommend) she made sure that there were plenty of halal options available... The entire staff at the regency club was super nice and the food was sooo good!... Also, it’s a 6 min scooter ride to main central chaweng (where it’s more happening) there isn’t much you can walk to from the hotel... Overall amazing time, amazing staff, amazing rooms, and superb food!...

The Koh Samui Grand Hyatt was one of the most relaxing holidays we have experienced. From the moment you arrive and are welcomed into the beautiful white and natural earthy toned reception, with water features, you know that this destination has a restful, sophisticated under tone... Our room was spacious and almost invited us us to relax... The staff were attentive, meeting our every need... The pool areas are fabulous, with many different areas so that you don't feel like others are on top of you, and the small beach is rocky, but there is a jetty to swim off where the water is warm and a great place spend time...

...Rooms are a great size and facilities fabulous. The reservation and reception staff are truly helpful... I recommend adding the breakfast on to your room rate - a good variety of options available at the buffet including healthy and vegetarian choices...

You should turn this into the children and family pool which makes more sense seeing you have children’s club and playground on this level make the children’s pool into a swim up bar or extended the deck All the way around the main pool and put deck chairs on the middle level where you do the yoga... The architecture and aesthetics are beautiful, and the property is well-maintained and clean... We especially liked the lobby featuring rainbow lights at night and excellent views of the sunrise in the morning... Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay...

...They upgraded me to a plunge pool room and it was everything and beyond!... The room had a very modern and luxurious feel to it, the plunge pool was ideal for a couple (I just wished it had jacuzzi jets) the shower and tub… seriously wow!... Only compliant was that I wish they had a mirror in the room as the only one there was in the bathroom... Now the main hotel… lovely property and the view from the main pool was stunning!!... The entire staff at the regency club was super nice and the food was sooo good!... The only drawback this hotel has is that it is on north chaweng beach, the beach isn’t suitable for swimming but their pools make up for it... Since we had a scooter, we managed easily... Overall amazing time, amazing staff, amazing rooms, and superb food!...

We stayed at this newly built hotel for 5 Nights in October 22 which is usually OFF season (instead of offering for free upgrade they asked us 300 Thai bath for an upgrade)... rooms are nice and clean (no coffee creamer though they send you COLD milk in your room)... we had free buffet breakfast which was bellow Average... pools are very very nice and clean, they have very small private beach... but the view from each room specially the lobby is to die for...

I went with family and we booked 2 rooms as per our choice and it totally hit the spot when we visited... 1 Ocean view room and another Room with plunge pool... The open reception lobby gives an openness and it gives an awesome view of the property and the expanse of the beautiful shore and sea... The property is quite big but there are buggy which you can ask for to go to lobby from your room or any place within the property at anytime... It makes it very easy to commute if you have elderly or kids with you... If you want to walk down that also is possible and makes it very nice since the landscaping is done wonderfully... It has a perfect ambience, service and food is delicious... The breakfast is quite extensive from bakery products to egg Station to dimsums, thai food, salad, fruits, cereals, juices, even some Indian food and very good jasmine tea and many other types of tea & coffee ... In the restaurant we had dinner also and its delicious, especially Tiramisu... Water is complimentary as much as one wants 24/7... It has a beautiful floating deck in the private beach... Not to forget the open air cinema which is projected on the waterfalls... Loved it and would really like to visit again...

Balcony faces manicured garden with beach view... Made use of the bluetooth JBL speaker clock and huge TV... The buffet breakfast selection is massive with made to order noodles and eggs... Freshly squeezed fruit juices in jars... Breakfast is always busy as the hotel is popular... The hotel is close to the airport and I had a car hire and the hotel provides complimentary valet parking which is convenient...

...For the price we paid, this resort was heaven. There's not really much within walking distance outside the resort so you have to take a cab to go to any of the tourist hotspots or to get dinner/lunch not at the hotel restaurant, but relaxing in the bath or near the pool was exactly what I needed... Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was extremely good...
