i must say I found the hotel rather basic upon arrival with the bathroom in particular being due for a facelift. Room had windows, but they open facing a wall. The fridge also disconnects when you leave the room, so it was basically useless. On the positive side it was clean, quiet, staff was friendly and location is great for...

We stayed here for 5 nights (2 people). As mentioned in other reviews, this place is absolutely perfect for travellers on a budget looking to stay somewhere CLEAN and close to the action with amazing, kind and beyond helpful staff. Our room was impeccably cleaned every day while we were out. Though the accommodation was quite basic, it was good...

This place is really worth it for duo-travellers. The managers/owners are the best. So helpful and honest and polite. This place is basically the same place as Penzy Guesthouse, which is next door. If you like to be close, But not too close, to central chaweng Then this is the place for you. Prices are fair and the rooms are...

One of the best guesthouses I have stayed at in Thailand , it's safe and secure and in a brilliant location, walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The owners are very helpful in sorting out day tours and booked ferry tickets for my onward journey. I Would stay here again :)

The rooms were nice, everything was pretty basic, but there was a fridge, which was probably the highlight of the room. It was pretty annoying that we had to turn the AC off every time we left the room, meaning that we always came back to a humid and stuffy room. It did cool down pretty quickly though. Penzy was...

We wanted to be by Chaweng but we didn't want to be kept awake all night so we were happy that we chose Sunny Guesthouse. Such friendly staff, who really helped us on our onward journey to Tao. Very clean and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. More expensive than some of the other places we stayed in, but still really...

“Think about whether you want to pay a little more to stay in the Penzy side if a basic room is likely to bother you.....sunny rooms are clean and have everything you need but Penzy rooms are prettier!”

“We asked for a room on the top floor and were given one. My boyfriend prefers this and doesn't mind carrying the bags but there is no elevator and the stairs are a ittle steep so if you have a problem with this you should ask for a room on a lower floor.”
