A friend and I stayed for two nights and had a pleasant time. The best part is the hotel itself: it is a beautifully decorated house surrounded by gardens with all kinds of animals (pets & wild) roaming around. They have a large balcony that overlooks the town and is perfect for relaxation, especially in the morning while having breakfast....

My partner and I were doing four days diving from nearby Playas del Coco and wanted somewhere a little more quiet away from the more tourist area at Coco beach. Hotel villas casa blanca worked well for us. Located a 10 minute drive from Coco beach it was what we wanted. Decent bed, a/c, shower and wifi meant it had...

I thought I was supposed to get picked up at this hotel to transfer to another part of the country. I made a mistake, and was in the wrong location. I heard their beautiful birds chirping and saw their pretty patio and went to ask them to use the phone. I had no cell service. They lent me the phone,...

I booked this hotel to go diving in Playas del Coco as most of the options there were fully booked and others not in line with my budget. With hindsight, I would have preferred to go to a hostel in Playas del Coco rather than Ocotal. For a solo traveler without a car, you can't do much. Ocotal is about...

Junior sweet with ocean view ,can see sliver of the ocean, needs new beds and chairs for the price you pay. The included breakfast is small. The gallo pinto tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. There are many cats, so if you have allergies..... Also the neighbor dogs bark all night, so if you can't sleep through that........

Liz is everything. Her gregarious sweetness, her excellent taste in decor, her lentil and chorizo stew! This is not a hotel, it is very much a bed and breakfast, you're in a place that is warm and inviting and homey and personal. Sitting on the balcony looking at the little slice of Playa Ocotal is heaven, and it is so...

Lis is the BEST. . . breakfast every morning and dinner every night on the patio, whenever we were ready. She made us payaya one night that was UH-mazing. Guests were mix of newly localized ex-pats, just passing throughs and cute honeymooning couples. My son and I went to dive (Rocket Frogs) and couldn't have stumbled on a better place....

Me and my brand new husband chose Casa Blanca for our first stay in Costa Rica and it couldn't have been more perfect. We got a ride from Liberia airport to the hotel for $50 which wasn't terrible and much appreciated. He even took us by a bank to get some Colones. Also greatly appreciated. We got to the hotel...

This is a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. We stayed here for a week. The owner was an excellent host. Friendly ,courteous and fun. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, wild birds came and joined us daily. You can see the ocean in the distance. There was a choice of Coasta rican style breakfast meals to choose from along...

The hotel staff went above and beyond, the food was tasty, I couldn't be happier with my stay here. It's affordable, clean, and we felt safe and secure. The staff and hotel are consistent so you know you'll get outstanding service here, highly recommend.
