Visited for three nights on ski trip to Ischgl. Hotel is 10 mins drive from the luvely resort and fabulous ski area of ischgl and is 3 minutes drive maybe 10 minute walk to the kappl ski lifts. Yet its location is not per se a draw. You need a car to go anywhere. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfy. The bath is large and modern. No phone or toulwteries in the rooms. Thw common parts show evidence of a fair bit of wxpenditure with the restauarant and breakfast are in light pine, the cozy Stube in darker wood and stained glass. There is a wellness area that looks a million dollars but nothing is on and the towels are a ragtag collection of 10 year old cloths. Food is ok but not very special and you have to order at breakfast for dinner. Breakfast includes sad apples chopped into tiny pieces and the same for a small cake and oddments of cheese. The couple running it work long hours, do not have languages other than german and the handful of young staff seem to live in fear of the boss. And so do guests who transgress house rules. There is definately something "Basil and Sybil" about the service which is a blend of endearing entertaining and not complying with the norms of the hospitality industry. We spent much of the stay pondering what we were to be told off for next... Carrying boots to the bedroom, not finishing our plates or not sitting down for dinner by 7pm... Funny old place.

We come to this hotel for several years for ski vacation. Being a family run hotel, it really feels like home - the people are very friendly, the owners may themselves make fried eggs personally for you in the moring and have a glass of schnaps together with you in the evenings. Nice location for a family stay - no apre-ski bars around, quiet and calm. You may take sledge and go to the slopes with the kids, or just have a walk in the alpine forest that starts a few meters away. Only 5 minutes drive to the Silvretta lift; free (and huge) parking lot. The room (we actually had a a suite, two rooms and a kitchen) is nice and clean, provides a lot of space for a family with kids; offers nice views, too. Not "haute cuisine", but good quality traditional food; if you take HB option, you have to pre-order the main course for the dinner in the morning of the same day, but that was never an issue for us. On a number of occasions we asked for something that was not on the pre-order list - and always got what we asked for; no problem at all. If you choose not to book HB option (or just feel you want a new experience), you can have a la carte dinners in the Stube, a cousy place next to the main resaurant; the choise is wide and the food is very good. I believe it is a good value for money and a nice place to stay if you are after a quiet vacation in a family-like atmosphere. Plan to spend my next vacaton there again.

Typical family run hotel. It has different room types depending on your budget. Facilities are all right though it lacks an indoor pool. Food is great for a winter holiday. Service could get a bit better but Mrs Waibl does her best to offer customers a fair experience.

Amazing place! Our corner room was HUGE and looked new. It was super clean and right on a little stream which would be great to sleep to during the warmer months. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The dinner has a wonderful soup and salad bar and then you can choose your meal. Breakfast was your typical Austrian Breakfast and very fresh. We loved everything about our stay. It is also only a few miles down the road from Ischgl which is a very nice mountain for skiing and has great night life if you are looking for bars and shopping. Would recommend this place 100% to anyone and everyone traveling to the area.

The hotel is nice. We got a room with a huge balcony and a very nice view. We had two meals but the dinner was not very good. The value for money is ok.
