Was part of group of 4 that spent a week at Mark and Niamh's lodge in June 2022 and this place is just brilliant. - 20 minutes from lourdes airport with taxi pickup organised via the lodge able to fit 4 bike boxes. - Bike Shed with every tool needed to assemble bikes and for any maintenance required during the week and very safe storage at night. - Any number of climbs minutes from the lodge door with plenty of pre-planned routes provided. - Very spacious and clean bedrooms. - Great dinner and breakfast to get you over those climbs - Tea/coffee on hand whenever with great indoor and outdoor seating area. Everything you need for cycling is available at the lodge but one of the big highlights is the great atmosphere around the lodge, chatting with others staying at the lodge over breakfast or dinner, getting the local intel off Mark and Niamh, laughing over a beer after a day in the saddle. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go back! /Mick

Thanks so much for the really lovely review Pierce. It was such a pleasure to host Dermot & yourself for your long weekend cycling trip. We're so glad that you enjoyed it and got to sample some of the cols on this trip...you've an excuse to come back and tick off some more! One of the things we love about the Lodge is hearing the chat & laughter between all guests before & after cycling...no better way to start & end your cycling day. We look forward to seeing you both again. All the best, Niamh & Mark.

If you love cycling, hiking or trail running, and being with like minded people, then look no further. Niamh and Mark have the perfect place in one of the loveliest locations. The room was clean and comfortable and had the most amazing views. The food was another highlight - you'll never go hungry and Mark's porridge is a must have before setting off for the day. We stayed for a weekn and Niamh provided us with some fabulous cycling routes, whilst Mark provided us with a detailed weather report every morning. We will be back - we have more mountains to climb!

If you want to cycle, talk cycling, eat great food & relax -- all in an authentic atmosphere, Mark & Niamh's place in the little village of Saint-Savin, France is the best. The rooms were well appointed, and the family-style meals made for great conversations with a diverse group. The cycling resources -- maps, knowledgable hosts & laundry services were a bonus.

The Pyrenees Cycling Lodge is snuggled into the village of Saint-Savin and staying there was like finding treasure! Several cycling friends and I enjoyed a week of incredible cycling, fabulous food and terrific accomodations. The hosts provided excellent and precise information on the many epic rides in the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and several had incredible views. I would love to return and explore more routes that are still on the long list!

We had the pleasure of booking a stay at the Pyrenees Cycling Lodge and enjoyed a few days of hiking in the high mountains. The hosts Niamh and Mark are exceptional not just with their outstanding hospitality, but also their knowledge and information. Being keen cyclists and hikers themselves they were able to make some great suggestions for where to go and what to see, taking in account the daily weather as well. The food during the stay is also another highlight, made fresh on the premises each day, Mark's infamous porridge for breakfast saw us fuelled really well for the days activities and was a real fan favourite! The dinners were fresh and provided a great variation from one day to the next. The rooms are great and comfortable and the views from the lodge across to the mountains are really breathtaking. You really appreciate being right in the mountains. Highly recommend.

I organized a Pyrenees cycling adventure with group of 12 cyclists from the west coast. I couldn't have selected a better venue for this event. Not only was the location perfect for riding the iconic TdF climbs, but the hosts at the lodge are absolutely wonderful people. The lodge is very comfortable and the food was fantastic. Mark and Niamh will go out of their way to meet dietary restrictions and fuel all riders for any day of cycling one could imagine. Their knowledge of all of the cycling routes was invaluable and our group was blown away by the continuous support throughout the week. If you are looking to ride the Pyrenees, look no further than the Pyrenees Cycling Lodge!
