The rooms were basic and ok. The shower had its own water heater which wasn't on so the first person had to have a cold shower. A bit primitive. However the restaurant with its fresh fish and seafood was very good with excellent service. The breakfast was good with home made cakes and pastries. The staff were very friendly and...

Hotel room was clean and fine (apart of broken shower hand), the main problem was the noise during the night in the street ( you have impression that there is a group of 30 tourists but in fact there were max 3 local people, and at 5 am dustmen !!! ) and in the morning the hotel stuff don't let...

This family owned hotel is in the town of Portopalo and you can walk anywhere from there. The beach is a pleasant if somewhat distant walk. Rooms are clean and although basic, have all you need for your stay. The decor is simple Sicilian with our sheets embroidered. The airconditioning worked well with no noise, the balcony overlooking the street...
