With an excellent restaurant and bar, as well as well as a free pickup from the port, this was a good home for us on our stay. A mother and two daughters run the place efficiently and with good humor, in spite of their limited English and our pitiful Italian. A bit of a challenge if you are strictly vegetarian:... More

At the port we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who works for the B&B. He guided us, on a motorbike, to the B&B as a family. Very good the food, from breakfast to dinner. Wild rooms surrounded by nature. Poor cleaning of the room. Beautifull the evenings' organization, the b&b becomes like a little disco. Great staff. Final score:... More

We traveled here for a destination wedding and what wonderful hospitality, absolutely spectacular views, and comfortable, clean accommodations! A little rustic but worth it!!! The food was local and fresh cuisine!!!

We had an old-style room with a big terrace over looking the sea, Sicily, and a large portion of Filicudi - and it was breath taking, but the shower and trash can had black mold in them. The food was not cooked well, nor presented well by the family waiting on us. It was too expensive for what they offered!... More

Arriving at Filicudi porto on the aliscafo, I was filled with thoughts of how many times my ancestors must have made the same journey to and from these islands – going back hundreds of years – it felt amazing. It was raining however so it was a good thing one of the hosts, Caterina had arranged to pick us up... More

We stayed one month in Sicily and we visited 2 weeks Aeolian Islands. We've been in all those beautiful islands, included the famous Salina, filming location of 1994's movie "Il postino (the postman)". But the best one we've been is undoubtedly Filicudi. This small island has no street lighting (??), 200 people living in winter, it's a deep dive in... More
