If you're looking for an affordable place to stay that is conveniently located in the middle of everything then this is a great place. Just walking distance from the train station, shopping and food (both restaurants and grocery stores.) Hotel is fairly clean (in the non-smoking rooms) and has everything you need. That said, if you happen to end up...

Location: 5 stars - Close to the train station (about 5 minutes or less walking). Lots of restaurants/bars that are steps away from the front of the hotel. One grocery store (basement floor, under Daiso) is on the way to the train station, the other less than a block down the street. Taxi fare from the airport is about 1100...

Very comfortable clean room with friendly staff and newer amenities. Quiet throughout my stay. There's a shared sauna on the 1st Floor, but I didn't try it out. This is a very short easy drive to Iwakuni Air Base or the airport. It's in the heart of downtown restaurants and shopping. I loved my stay here and will stay again...

Very convenient for Iwakuni station (3 mins walk), this is an ideal location if you can't get a hotel in Hiroshima and want to visit the Miyajima shrine. The hotel is clean and comfortable although the rooms are very small, but it's just a place to lay your head at the end of the day. Free WiFi, a decent shower,...

Welcome/Staff were very polite, very kind Room and bed were a bit small Amenities Onsen was rather clean, a bit small though. There is a laundry room but the dryer is not efficient at all! After a couple of hours our clothes were still wet... Service ok We didn't have breakfast Place is a bit dark but it is all...

For Iwakuni, not a bad hotel and it is literally two blocks away from the rail station, which is nice. We didn't partake in the breakfast, however, it smelled and looked delicious. The rooms were very small but it's perfect for one person and a little crowded for two. Some of the rooms have curtains on the OUTSIDE of the...

My travel agent booked two - two bed rooms for me and my colleague. We were working at the MCAS Iwakuni. She booked a smoking and one non-smoking since those were the only choices. Unfortunately she booked me in the smoking and my colleague non-smoking. He was a smoker and this would have been an easy switch...but he quit about...

The hotel is very clean and the staff are helpful. This hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport/base. They provide a variety of in room amenities in a nice environment. The rooms are small, but really all you need for sleeping! Hotel is located on the "main street" but very quiet. Breakfast is available for purchase, but we...

Had reservations for ten days, but had to leave after only two nights. Lobby appears nice, but room was dirty, smelly, and stunk. The 'public bathhouse' (onsen) was gross and mildewed. Front desk rarely had anyone who spoke or understood English. Didn't even bother with the typical Japanese breakfast (it's extra, anyhow.) They charge for local phone calls. My health...

Very small rooms but not too bad by Japanese standards, no English TV available, even with purchase of TV card. Only two staff members speak English. While the cleaning staff did a good job vacuuming and providing fresh linens, my numerous requests to leave my window open so the room could air out were disregarded. I was moved into a...
