We've stayed here a couple of times in large groups (10+ families) and have always enjoyed the stay and did. Richard the owner is a great person, chef and host. There is plenty to do in the hotel and also nearby. Will come again!
This pension is on the outskirt of Ruzomberok. There are nice hills around the pension, a main road is about 100 meters from it. There are big courtyard full of toys for children. The building is modern, the rooms are spacious.
Beautiful pension with very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Nice playground for children in the pension areal with small lake. Kitchen is perfect - especially 3-course dinner. I recommend do not eat too much for a lunch. Breakfast is simple but you can find there everything. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed playing room with billiard, table football and ping pong table. Good location of of the pension, you're close to Vlkolínec, Bešeňová aqua park, Donovaly, Dolný Kubín, Malino Brdo, etc.
I experienced just dinner there, but I have to say it was delicious....together with nice surrounding, nice people, with place for kids and good location for walk or bike trips I would recommend to visit.
We were staying in Sidorovo as wedding guests, the place as such looks very nice, however the quality of sleep was very low. Even though there are some apartments on the ground floor, most of the rooms are upstairs. The rooms are clean and bigger than average, but the roof windows have no blinds on them - which means as soon as the sun is up, you are up too – in summer that can be as early as at 4AM. As the whole place was booked out for the wedding we could not ask to switch to one of the downstairs rooms, so we asked the staff if they could do anything about the missing blinds on the windows. They could not, so we ended up putting up towels on the windows to be able to get at least some sleep. While the furniture seemed to be quite new, the beds were not very big and/or comfortable, so we did not spend a very pleasant night. Otherwise, the pictures on the website are quite accurate, so what you see is what you get. On the plus side, the food was very nice, and the restaurant stuff polite, I would be happy to come back to the restaurant but definitely not to spend another night.
