I can say just one thing about this experience: Amazing! When we decided to escape the city for the Easter holiday we had no idea about what to expect from our one night stop at Aire de Bardenas. We like adventures, feeling like explorers, make great memories and this place was all this things together. We slept in a huge... More

It is located a few kilometers outside Tudela old town. The place is really something. The construction is quite unique, using containers, pallets mixed with traditional materials. Small hotel, very peaceful, has an excellent restaurant, serving all classic "Vasco" food, but with a modern bistro touch. Nice to spend one night.

I almost entirely loved our 2 nights at this hotel. The location is stunning, and the compound is such a weird oddity out in the desert. The room layout is exactly what you would expect from a boutique hotel such as this, with an exceptionally sexy open bathroom (and yet a very private toilet), lighting that isn't overly garish and... Advertisements, pictures etc suggested we would be in a really exceptional and extraordinary place inside de Bardenas Reales. In fact, that's not the complete story. Ok, it's definitively special and original, but the hotel is more on the outside of the (really amazing!!) nature reserve... and outside the pictures there's a view on farmland rather than on the nature reserve... We love the architecture of the place. Wonderful relaxing stay in our own cabin with a view. Nice pool and opportunity to visit with a guide de bardenas desert. We are looking forward to go again maybe next time in their new bubble hotel rooms! Breakfast was very good. And the overall atmosphere was just relaxing.

After our visit we're quite surprises about the negative critics we read. Very well done and an intelligent 'RAW' hotel made with of-the-rack prefab materials. Nice rooms, spacious and simple yet comfortable. Very good almost completely vegetarian 7-course diner. And yes, most rooms don't have views but you don't care after a day out in the Bardenas Reales. In all... More

We came back after a wonderful first visit 3 years ago, but didn't find the same level this time. - First disappointment is the state of the rooms > a lot of stuff needs to be repaired and is not up to standards anymore (eg bath) - The menu in the restaurant has not changed in 3 years !! The... More

Incredible location for a hotel - amazing views! The rooms are laid out in "portacabins" so you've to follow outdoor paths to find your room. Opt for a room with an outdoor bath if you can! However, if privacy is a priority there are no blinds/curtains (or frosted glass in the toilet)!

I shouldn't be letting you in on these secrets, but ... This hotel isn't what it claims to be. It isn't 4 star, it isn't in the desert, and it doesn't have views of the Bardenas Reales. In reality it is just an over-hyped 3 star hotel, just outside Tudela with views of a field, some wind turbines and a... More

First stay in Tudela area for visiting the Barnedas Reales natural park. Convenient place to go to the park by car (less than 1h drive to the Castelditierra, taking into account that one has to drive very slowly on the park tracks). Contemporary design hotel, but not truly luxury hotel in its finishing (example: excellent bedding, but lots of little... More

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm sorry that you didn't appreciate our highest value in Aire de Bardenas which is our staff. All of them without exception are completely involved, professional and have always a sincere smile for every client, also for you. Ah! I see you appreciate our coffee Nespresso but not our always fresh orange juice... More
