Just returned from a beautiful stay at the Bryn Elltyd eco Guest House. I don’t really review much, but I needed to add a review how lovely it was to stay here over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend! John and Celia are perfect hosts, they welcomed us with a cup of tea and cake. It had taken longer than we...

I really enjoyed my recent stay at Bryn Elltyd eco guest house and although it was only a short stay I got to experience the lovely views and the lovely hospitality of John and Ceilia. They cooked a great breakfast with freshly baked bread and they gave me plenty of helpful and interesting information about the local area and how...

Enjoyed a great 3 night stay nested in the home of hydroelectric Snowdonia. Boasting tremendous views, excellent food and a warm welcome from Cecilia and John. Great base for exploring the hills and local area, with a surprising range of activities within easy reach. Great find of an award winning green B+B..

We stayed in November for two nights (with our dog) in the Hobbit room. Although the weather was wild and stormy, we received a warm welcome from Ceilia and John. They always had time for a chat and shared their knowledge of the local area. The location is very picturesque, and the room was cosy. Despite the raging storm we...

My wife and I had an extremely enjoyable stay at Bryn Elltyd on an all too brief visit to Snowdonia, primarily to spend a day adventuring at the Zip World site at Blaenau Ffestinniog. John and Celia were great hosts who made us very welcome; lighting a log burner and providing tea and fruit cake when we first arrived. They...

Really enjoyable visit and ideally located for visiting Bounce Below or Zip World. Only 20 minutes from Port Meireon and Porthmadog. Beautiful location. Excellent hosts who were friendly and informative without being in your face all the time. Accommodation was clean . Breakfast was excellent quality - will definitely be visiting again.

This was my first visit, but my husband has been before. Delightful little B&B, with a wonderful garden for the kids to explore. I really liked the little upstairs conservatory, where the family could meet on an evening. Breakfast was great, the hosts were very friendly. Carbon free too! I recommend a visit to the café over the road. It's...

This is my second visit here, and it won't be my last. This time I was sharing a twin room with my mother while my uncle had his own single room. The same warm welcome and warm building awaits, though I didn't get as much chance to talk to John as last time because I was busy. The breakfast remains...

Wonderful sleep. The beds are lovely, and the breakfast is truly device and delicious. The owners are really friendly. Also, the view of the suriunding hills, mountains, and the passing steam train, make the place a truly one of a kind welsh paradise. Well worth staying there, to get way for some peace and relaxation in North Wales.

Initially selected because of the electric vehicle charge points to recharge my car and it's convenience for Snowdonia, was quickly won over by the infectious enthusiasm of John and Ceilia for their eco-centric home. John kindly gave my son and I a short walking tour of the local area, describing its long history of innovation and development, along with a...
