First impression was poor, weeds growing out of the steps to entrance and clearly not swept. Zero Rating for food hygiene sign on the door. Advised the 'hotel' did not do lunch or evening meals at all. Advised we could get a take away and...More
Stated here for 2 nights as close to all planned activities. Hotel room was clean though basic. The manager came and introduced herself at breakfast (nice touch) and checked whether everything was ok. Cooked breakfast was nice, but evening meals are something the hotel lacks....More

There is a pub up the road further into town about 5 mins walk called Y Meirion. It's a smallish pub, but the guys who run it are very friendly, as are the locals. Because of the space, I'd recommend calling them and reserving a table, as it only seats about 12 people in the restaurant section. Food is good value and very tasty!!
