We stayed over 1 week (Christmas break) at Furano Lofts, and it was as good as reviewed. Leon and Tim were amazing in organising restaurants and recommendations for activities. The 2 bedroom apartment was very tastefully designed and also very comfortable. The washer/dryer was a godsend, as was the heated drying room. The onsite onsen is amazing after a day of skiing.
I'm looking forwards to coming back again for next season!

I can’t recommend Furano Lofts highly enough if you are looking for luxury accommodation in Furano. The accommodation is new near, of a high standard and specification, well appointed and warm and dry. Leon, Tim and the team went well out of their way to make us feel welcome and made sure that our stay was enjoyable. They freely helped with advice of where the best places to eat were and organised the taxis, provided complimentary shuttles to and from the ski lifts everyday and there was always a nice touch of treats to welcome us home at the end of the day. Their Onsen is a fantastic way to sooth the muscles after a day on the slopes. When our bus connection back to Sapporo was missed, Leon offered to drive us free of charge just to make sure we made our connecting flight back to NZ – something that we really appreciated. You won’t be disappointed by booking Furano Lofts on your next visit to Furano – all booking communications were prompt and clear in English which makes it easy for foreign visitors.

We enjoyed a fabulous 5 nights at Furano Lofts, the accommodation was cozy, comfortable, aesthetically beautiful, and immaculate. The three of us enjoyed the roomy apartment, our teenage son especially loved his own mezzanine retreat from parents. A great place to relax after a day of skiing. Leon and Tim could not do enough for us from running us around, helping us navigate the area, book cabs, restaurant suggestions and providing the onsen. Look forward to coming again with friends.

Our family of 3 stayed at Furano Lofts during the first week of January. We stayed in one of the mezzanine apartments and our daughter loved her own little sleeping and resting area. The apartment was spotless and amenities provided were great. It was lovely to receive a daily treat from the region every afternoon! Leon and Tim were exceptional in terms of service and advice from providing recommendations and booking restaurants and places to visit as well helping with day to day transfers and just general knowledge of the area.We look forward to staying again!

Beautifully appointed apartment well maintained to a very high standard. Fully fitted kitchen, in room deep bath tub and even a washing machine, you cannot ask for more. Guest services by Leon and Tim were thoughtful and spot on from dining to sightseeing options. Local specialities provided daily as compliments were also delightful. If you are looking for luxury accomodation with extra touch in Furano, this is the place. We will defintely choose Furano Lofts again.

Leon, Tim, Gonzo and team are the heart and soul of Furano Lofts and made our stay so unique. With decades of experience living and working locally, their quiet passion for Furano translated into a wonderful experience for us through their thoughtful and detailed guidance on what to do, where to go and what to eat. Furano wasn't just another Japanese ski holiday to tick off our list, but became an immersive local experience thanks to the team.
The smallest details made our stay remarkable. I woke up with a sore neck due to the pillow being too soft for my liking and Leon was incredibly generous to source a new neck contour pillow for me which appeared on my bed at the end of the day. With Tim's help, we found ourselves booked into the most authentic of eateries that Furano had to offer. He recommended what to eat and provided detailed directions on how to get there (including nearby parking spots) as we had rental cars with us. The team also helped us clear snow and ice from our cars every morning, a huge boon for equatorial guests like us!
We were also treated with a box of local snacks which we never would have been able to access on our own, and a lovely bottle of Ume Wine which we still think of til today! On Valentines Day a box of chocolates greeted us after our return from the slopes, with a note explaining how the day is celebrated in Japan.
The team at Furano Lofts take immense pride in taking care of their property and their guests. It is an ideal stay for those looking for a quiet, mature and elegant environment where your needs are taken care of by a team who are invested in Furano.

We stayed a week in Furano Lofts in August. We stayed in the one bedroom unit and it was most pleasant. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette, wash and dry laundry machine, powerful shower and a deep bath tub perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. There is an onsite Onsen suitable for 2 persons and is available for booking. The location of the lofts is central and most restaurants that we went to are about 10-15 mins drive. There are good supermarkets esp, Forest and Furano Marche also about 15mins drive from the lofts. Furano Delice, a famous patisserie is only 5mins walk up the road and another popular French restaurant is 5mins walk down the road. The charming Ningle Terrace is a 15mins drive away and so is the Cheese Factory/Pizza Factory (which serves the best pizza in Furano !)
Our hosts, Leon and Tim are most hospitable and most gracious. Tim is our go to guy for restaurants recommendations and they are all good. When we told him we wanted to go to Mt Asahi, he whipped out his smartphone and immediately check the weather/wind conditions at the mountain to make sure we won’t make a futile trip. He will give us places to shop that are so discreet and hidden that unless you are in the know, you will never find it. Leon will surprise us with goodies like freshly baked buns, local cheese and crackers, sake etc, which he brings over in a basket. This is the difference between staying in a hotel and a small privately managed residence. You receive personal attention and always come back to friendly chatter, genuine concerns and sound advice.
I highly recommend Furano Lofts and Chalets if you plan to make Furano your base to explore the surrounding areas. They even have a larger luxurious and stylish chalet that can sleep 8 very comfortably. Perfect for families and friends. We look forward to returning with a larger group to stay in the chalet.

This was our second stay at Furano Lofts, and we will be coming back again. Leon and Tim provide amazing service that is customized for our family. Spacious rooms by Japan standards with great detail to aesthetics and cleanliness. Hosts are very responsive and helpful in getting you around a Furano which really gives it a more personal feel than what you get in hotels (based on comments from my ski buddies who stayed elsewhere). The private onsen is the icing on the cake.

We return year after year so we can be pampered in the luxury accommodations at the Furano Lofts. A boutique and quaint property with each detail well thought out. But it's the friendly service that we enjoy. It's the before, during and after of endless concierge services that the team at the Furano Lofts perfects. We have a large group and we come each year for the personable services and we love that the mainstay employees are always there to greet us. They are all quintessential hosts!! There's no point looking anywhere else when in Furano.
