My husband and I (along with 2 other couples) were absolutely thrilled with our stay the last weekend of January 2017. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our tour with Winterdance Dog-Sled. This heritage home is beautifully nestled back from the road along the Minden River Walkway, just a few minutes' walk from the quaint downtown of...

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast/Inn for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay as everything was taken care of into the minutest details. And the breakfast was suberb! With waffles, bacon, eggs, fruit and delicious home-made yoghurt! (Too much to eat!).The rooms were very clean and there was a whirlpool-for-two in the room! We did find however that...

We stayed at a wonderful B&B for ringing in the New Year. Bob, our host, is an amazing man. He just had a pacemaker put in and he took care of us completely. He loves to share stories and we love to listen. Please check out the Wild Swan Bed and Breakfast. It is a beautiful Victorian-style home. Not a...

Mark & I needed a quick get away. We had one night and a good day ahead of us, so we chose a less than 2 hour destination: The Haliburtons of Ontario. We had heard of a good brewery and restaurant in the area, so I asked the woman who answered the phone about the best three nearest Bed &...

What a lovely BnB. My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days as we were visiting friends and family in the area, and spending some time in Algonquin and Bob and his bed and breakfast surpassed all of our expectations. Bob is hospitality personified - warm, welcoming and always up for a good conversation. My wife loved...

Our host Bob was fantastic.2 night stay. Sumptuous breakfasts. Amazing hospitality. Spectacular rooms.Though weather was not the best for 2 days. Our stay at this beautiful B&B was great. Thinking of returning in 2017 with plans of booking 3 nights with a dinner as well.

Our overnight stay in this lovely, historic house was delightful. The place is full of antiques lovingly collected by our charming and chatty host, who organized our dinner reservations at a local restaurant. His recommendation was perfect - turns out that he had been a Toronto restauranteur at one time. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and served, sumptuous and enormous -...

Bob is an amazing host, very attentive and goes above and beyond to please guests. We were in town as photographers, Bob helped us find all the spots we were looking for, all while getting up at all the craziest hours to make us an amazing breakfast with fresh berries and real Canadian comfort food. The room was luxurious, and...

Stayed one night during a business trip. Enjoyed lightening fast wifi, a host who really knows how to make someone feel comfortable and the historic feel of the home is undeniable. The breakfast was on-par with Langdon Hall (5-star award winning) and the coffee was brewed better than anything I enjoyed in Costa Rica earlier this year. ....really, it felt...

A lovely property steeped in local history. Your host (Bob) is a gracious, attentive and true gentleman. We were greeted upon our arrival and given a quick tour, then we settled down for an informative chat with Bob in the dining room. The propery maintains much of its historic character and is filled with beautiful artwork and fascinating items to...
