We had an amazing stay at Master Campers. From arrival, we were very well looked after and the service was incredible. Roy was the most amazing guide...the things he could spot from so far away was amazing! We also found out he was the very talented chef that prepared our delicious meals - dining out on delicious food under the... More

We stayed with Isuru and the team at Master Campers in Uda Walawe for two nights. From the moment we arrived we were absolutely blown away. The camp is set up on the edge of a lake in a sugar cane farm, a few minutes from the entrance to the national park. The setting was stunning and the attention to... More

We are back home but still dreaming about our amazing experience at Master camp. We are forever thankful to Isuru and the team for all that they did to make us comfortable. I will never forget the awesome food. I think we ate every possible Sri Lankan curry or taking a shower with a frog, of course, there was our... More

After reading the reading the wonderful reviews we decided to book two nights luxury camping with Master Campers They made efforts to find out more about us before we reach camp. And all our requests were taken care of. I can happily say I have never been so well looked afteron a wild life holiday, Nothing was too much trouble... More

Master Campers markets themselves as Luxury and Premium Tented Camping. The Webster definition of luxury is 'the state of great comfort and extravagant living'. Would you consider rats running inside of and on top of your tent throughout the night luxury? Would you consider a dirt floor with a 20 year old tent with reused spare tent parts from the... More

We were so disappointed. Their tent are a disgrace to the "luxury camping" catagory of safaris. This is 2016, right? I mean, they took this super old Army-surplus tent and tried to convert it to a "luxury accommodation"?? Nope, sorry. Not even close. Old carpets laid over dirt. The bathroom was just plain scary. Their generator broke down so there... More

We stayed at Master Campers, expecting it to be in the park, with swimming, rafting, and the overall expereince of being in the park with all the animals. Infact, the camp had to move out of the park some years ago and is now down a dusty trail at the bottom of a sugar cane field, about 5 kms from... More

Our group of friends had a great time with Master Campers. Service was impeccable, the guides were great, and the food was delicious. It was a lovely experience. The only thing was, it was super expensive. Maybe the price was inflated for the holidays. But we couldn't figure out where the $250USD per person per day was going to. Unfortunately... More
