At very short notice Sally & Dean had a room available and it was worth every penny. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. They made me feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent, on time and hot. They knew the area well and could make recommendations of places to see. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Rookseat is the high water mark for b&bs. Impeccable attention to detail coupled with great hospitality from the knowledgable and helpful hosts, lovely location and the most comfortable of accommodation adds up to an experience that ensures this is a place where the most hardened of critics would struggle to find a negative.

Sally and Dean run a cycle hire business in Redlynch, Wilts, right on the edge of the New Forest. But their B&B is what drew us here after a day spent walking the Avon Valley Path from Salisbury. Stylish, modern, comfortable and spotless, with breakfasts reflecting Sally's experience in catering. And the King's Head pub next door takes over in...

My partner and I stayed at Rookseat B&B last September and cannot recommend Sally and Dean highly enough! Sallys breakfast was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble for either of them, we could have listened to Deans stories all day! Genuinely the nicest B&Bers we have ever met. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and good sized ensuite. Very...

Very well kept B&B and most friendly hosts. Best full english breakfast I ever had. Would recommend Rookseat any time! The location was rural and quiet with a pub serving good food and ales within 20 seconds walk, but no disturbing noises ever to be heard. Surely one of the best and deserves a 5 star rating!
