Beautiful clean comfortable a great place to stay. The restaurant was also excellent, I had the fish and chips and my husband had the pot pie. We loved the fireplace in the bar and the sitting room. The gardens were also very nice. Breakfast was...More
Our second visit, the first being an interesting but enjoyable experience. We're a relatively young couple and this is certainly a more traditional hotel. Very pleased to be offered an upgrade as it was my birthday. The hotel carpets and hallways have been upgraded and...More

Hi David had 2 great holidays last 2 years in your fabulous country but jeez these flights!!!. Both above suggestions are good for pit stops. Luss is about a quarter of the way there, Tyndrum about half the way there and has a wide range of facilities but not the charm of Luss. Depending how tired you feel and when you stop there is another place on the A85 quite a bit after Tyndrum called Inverewe Smokehouse signposted off main road. Delightful home baking in a lovely setting with some short walks available to stretch your legs. Enjoy your holiday
