My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here with an overnight stay in the Bewl cottage. It was a last minute booking, due to being very disappointed with our first hotel we booked in Tunbridge Wells. ( We checked in then immediately out). Upon arrival to the Vineyard Inn we were greeted by the manager and our accommodation...

Room was very clean - split level accommodation with bed up a narrow spiral staircase . Bedroom had very low ceiling so easy to bang your head. Bed very comfortable , bathroom generous size., immaculate and very smart modern fittings. We wanted to check out at 8.30 - no-one available to deal with us and premises locked. We eventually left...

Loved this restaurant which was recommended to us by friends. Delicious food, lots to choose from including a specials board. Good range of starters, mains, desserts and cheeses. We will be back soon - worth the drive. Grounds lovely too.

I drive past The Vineyard every day to work and have done for 3 years and finally visited with my partner one evening after work. The pub is warm and cosy and the staff were very accommodating, one of the best country pubs I have visited in Kent. The food was exceptional although just a tad too much chilli on...

I had not been here for few years but remembering a pleasant time on my last visit and as we were near, thought it was time for a return visit. I was pleased to enjoy a delicious lunch with a good friend. It was a warm day, having been greeted warmly and seated quickly I was grateful for a generous...

We often come here as a family but our most recent visit was a disappointment. We'd booked a specific table but was given a different table when we turned up which had been set for more than we'd booked for so its obvious something had gone awry with their booking system. The waitress was chewing gum throughout taking our drinks...

Whilst my room was clean and the bed very comfortable, it was noisy being literally on the main road and also above the kitchen. There was a lot of loud talk and clattering from the kitchen until midnight. The terrace outside the room was more or less in the pub garden and the night I was there, two groups of...

Perfect for a family with children as there is a playground in the garden which my two 8 yrs old boys and their friends loved. The four adults enjoyed life music entertainment and delicious food. The pub is 5 min from Scotney castle which we visited earlier and was a perfect place after a day of exploring.

Went here with mum (who lives in Lamberhurst) after going to the Great House a month before. Both do really well cooked and presented food and the staff and service are both excellent. Will be back soon.

We booked the Bewl 'Master' Suite' thinking 'master' would be more luxurious than the cheaper rooms, but no! There are several issues which range from small to serious (in my opinion). The most serious is the small, steep and extremely slippery spiral staircase taking you up to the bedroom. Take care! When upstairs, unless you are vertically challenged or a...
