Absolutely beautiful small hotel right in town. 2 min walk to the main square. Arjan & Marije were super helpful and helped advise on fun things to do in the area. Very relaxing pool area. Would love to visit again. :)

We visited Monpazier in July 2020 and stayed for 4 nights. We had a really beautiful room. Lots of space and charmingly decorated. The hotel is classy. Excellent pool, it was needed as very hot when we were there. Pool side drinks service. The staff could not have been more helpful. We did not eat at the hotel but the other guests said the food was excellent. Not sure the hotel would suit young children. We will definitely return and with friends.

The hotel is very charming and nice. The room -though a bit small in our case- had a lovely, spectacular view of the valley in autumn colours. The hotel staff is very friendly and helps with many tips of -in our case- biking routs and places to visit. The restaurant is top quality, starting with the very tasteful breakfast till the excellent diners. We would like to come back to Monpazier, to this hotel!

Thank you for your very nice comments. Unfortunately, being an old building, the rooms do vary in size, however we have a very large selection of options available. We lways try our very best to give as much time and attention to the needs of our guests, with regards to the local area and places to visit and we have a number of route maps available for cycling and walking. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel on your next visit to Monpazier Arjan, Marije and team Edward 1er

The restaurant Eleonore was simple superb with excellent, food and service. Our hosts Arjan & Marije made our stay very comfortable and ensured that everything we needed was looked after. This was a family treat of a long weekend in one of our favourite locations - Monpazier. We all loved the Hotel! Our three rooms were amazing - two were furnished in a classic French style and one was ultra modern and a big hit with the teenagers. We spent two and a half lovely days sightseeing in the area until mid afternoon and then returning to the hotel for swimming and relaxing by the beautiful blue pool. Our evening meals were superb and the hotel staff were attentive and welcoming. It is so easy to drive to the hotel from the airport at Bergerac. I can’t wait to visit again next year!
