This is a really lovely hotel. We stayed here a couple of years ago and, unbeknown to us, it has changed ownership. We thought our stay the last time was wonderful and, if anything, this time it was even better. The owners and staff are really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was dinner delicious and the rooms sparklingly clean. The hotel is situated on the edge of the historic village of Monpazier and is only a couple of minutes walk away from the centre. We can't wait to have an excuse to visit Monpazier again and stay in this lovely hotel.

We stayed one week in the hotel (original plan was 4 nights) and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the team, the excellent dinners prepared by the chef and nice breakfasts. It is situated in Monpazier along a quiet road. Our room had a nice view over the countryside. Nice little swimming pool. Clean rooms. A good place to enjoy the Dordogne! Rita and Peter

We have been coming to this hotel for several years. It has always been one of our favourites. It now has new owners and we were slightly apprehensive about visiting again. We certainly didn't need to worry. The hotel is still as lovely and has the same feel as before. Isabel works incredibly hard to make sure all the guests have everything they need. As does Michel, along with cooking the most delicious meals. The 55 euro half board option is a complete steal. Michelin standard meals for 27 euro a head outside or in the lovely dining room. You'd be mad not to do it. If you like staying in comfortable and well run small hotels in beautiful places you must give this one a try. A bit of the beaten track but well worth it!
