Beautifully renovated house with good sized en-suite rooms and friendly hosts make you feel at home straight away. John and Edell are so easy to chat with that you could be staying with friends rather than at a B&B. 2 minutes both from the main square and the edge of town make it the perfect location to pop in for...

A last minute and anxious bit of luck pushed me to Edell’s B&B. I got a warm welcome - and a lovely stay with Edell & John. Their beautiful 700yr old house very much part of Monpazier’s history – a jaw-dropping & amazing ‘bastide’ village.

Great hospitality, lovely room and 1 min away from center of lovely Monpazier. John and Edell gave me a wonderful ex South African welcome at their B&B in Monpazier and made me felt at home from the word go. Nice location near the city center of Monpazier. Jonh and Edell are really nice and friendly. Great breakfast! Fresh fruit, toast and all you could need for a hard day of tourism! The room was amazing: clean, nice decorated, confortable and big enough. We even had a terrace! You also have a big terrace plentynof flowers on the first floor...

we have stayed with Edell and John before so we knew it was a must this time in France. Monpazier is the most beautiful place to visit and Edell and John are perfect hosts. Their chambre d'hote is amazing (we saw it before John worked his magic and what he has done is unbelievable!). A truly warm welcome awaits everyone...

We stayed here for 4 nights last week and it more than lived up to the high praise from the previously posted Trip Advisor reviews. The B&B is in a fantastic location, very close to the main square and with ample parking close by. The hosts, Edell and John, are extremely welcoming and provide a great breakfast. The room was...

Returning to Chez Edell this year was a must as the wonderful memory of our stay the year before was as strong as ever! The return, it transpired, was even better. As a place to stay this is faultless; the hosts, John, Edell and Hector, are like family, the accommodation gorgeous and the Bastede of Monpazier just sublime. This certainly...
