We had a thoroughly wonderful weekend in Maison Des Palmiers even forgetting the cloudy weather - such is the quality of service, elegance of our surroundings and attention to detail. Highly recommended, though inclined to keep quiet of this wonderful Haven for fear of being fully booked in future.

What a fabulous little hotel/chambre d'hote. The house dates back to the 1800's and has been furnished and decorated beautifully with some fabulous pieces, both antique and modern - but very well blended together. The hosts/owners, Richard and Sandy have created a home from home but with every detail of a five star establishment, from the pool to the breakfast and the very comfy beds, everything is just perfect. Breakfast is quite amazing a smorgasbord to delight the tastebuds, we also dined one night and had a fabulous meal cooked for us by Richard and hosted beautifully by Sandy. The attention to detail throughout everything is quite incredible. Thank you Richard and Sandy, we will return.

Well wow!!! What can I say about this little hotel,French shabby chic at it's finest. The hosts Sandy and Richard only took over this hotel five months ago and what a transformation, the rooms are lovely and in keeping with the property, comfy beds, nexpresso machine with plenty of coffee & tea and lovely homemade shortbread biscuits. A delightful breakfast with plenty of choice, homemade muffins and pastries are served daily and you awake to the aroma of fresh baking. The hosts are warm, friendly and will attend to your every need.We booked a two course meal and it was superb. The village is very picturesque but you do need a car to enjoy the area. All in all a delightful and relaxing visit.

This was my second visit to Maison des Palmiers and it was just as wonderful as the first. My Mum and I shared the family room on the top floor. It was beautiful. Once again Richard and Sandy were more than perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped to make our stay truly wonderful.

+1
Richard and Sandy have managed in a mere 21 weeks of ownership to make Maison des Palmiers the most incredible B&B experience I have ever come across. Their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail are second to none. Their B&B is centrally located in the heart of town, walking distance to restaurants, a swimming hole, and much more. Their breakfasts are decadent and typically set out in the garden, weather permitting, and their cocktails and other meals are of similar high quality. Oh, and the building itself - wow. What surprised me the most was that they were planning on doing a number of additional renovations -- I couldn't tell why -- the building was perfect to me, but given their taste in exceptional design and decor and high degree of attention to detail, I certainly can't complain! The building is traditional and very French -- it was a really authentic experience from that perspective.
