The view from the room on the second floor in the more recent building is wonderful. The room is pretty, clean, and provides lots of space. However, there was no restauration service beyond breakfast, even though this was announced on the hotel's website. Also, hotel management decided, without giving us advance notice, to stop their air conditioning for the rest of the year during our stay. We ended up with a very hot room (since there is sun streaming in during the whole afternoon). There is no umbrella on the balcony, which is exposed to the sun all afternoon. Since the rooms are accessible from the outside, breakfast comes in wet whenever it rains.
We stayed here in September as a couple and our room was located in the old part of the hotel without a balcony but with seaview. The room was spacious, clean and very nicely set up. Breakfast was ample and qualitatively very good - currently you order from a menue and at the reserved time you are served your breakfast as requested in your room or on the beautiful terrace (we enjoyed the latter). The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has been build a few years ago on the grounds of a refurbished vintage villa by the owners of the long time renowned beach side hotel Le Bailli de Suffren which can be reached in a few minutes by the palatial stairway leading to the sea. Here you will enjoy the best of both worlds: (paying) access to Le Bailli's private beach on the idyllic Le Rayol beach and at the same time a brand new small terraced hotel built uphill with wonderful views, a beautiful pool, nested in the green,... for a very reasonable price, considering.
What a charming little hotel. Very comfortable in the main building with charme of the last century. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. An ideal hideway on this beautiful stretch of coast. Old big pinetrees and nice houses in Rayol. Close by is the botanical garden. A few steps away is the lovely beach. Perfect for a swim in the morning.
I really enjoyed the balcony and the view at nite. The staff was very friendly. The Bed was one of the hardest beds I have ever slept on - and was very uncomfortable. They need to get some gel foam toppers for people like me who can sleep on a super hard bed.
The Bailli has a very good view onto the Mediterranean Sea from most of the rooms and a very nice view from the breakfast room into the garden with very old trees, just marvellous. I liked most, that there are quite a lot of organic products for breakfast.
Well equipped room with terrace & sea view but too hot to sit in full sun as no shade, awning etc provided. Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice. Reception staff not particularily welcoming. Reported fault with terrace doors which would not lock but nothing was done about it. Beach not very accessible if you are not young & fit. Not enough car parking.
We enjoyed our stay once more; perfect athmosphere, beautiful spot, just relaxing! We recommend Les Terrasse du Bailli and Le Rayol-sur-Canadel very much. If you like to calm down then this is the place to go.
Unlike so many resorts in the South of France ,this is peaceful and splendid in every way.The sea is a few minutes walk away .The hotel itself is charming .We stayed in the former villa which had the cheapest rooms ,but no way did we feel anything was other than first rate .The staff are fantastic .
Beautiful region and nearby the sea. Great view on the Mediterrian Sea. The swimmingpool is rather small, but you are nearby the sea for a swim. The rooms are clean and big enough for 2 people to stay.
