I will start with the positive: the staff is super friendly and accommodating, the grounds are nice, and our room was very spacious and bright. I am afraid this is it. The rest was disappointing: the duvet/quilt was filthy and old and similar for the carpet and curtains. The restaurant menu is not worth at all (the best were the wine, oisters and cheese...) and finally, they publicize they have a spa and are next to the beach, but the spa is just a swimming pool and a sauna/hammam, and the beach is of difficult access and you will need a car. Not worth value for money.
We spent a few days here in September 19 the hotel is beautifully located in a rural / sylvan setting near La Havre and not too far from Cherbourg-en-Cotentin staff were friendly and helpful car parking was very easy our room was large and comfortable ( a little cluttered with excess furniture and the en-suite could do with an upgrade ) dining facilities were excellent a very good dinner and breakfasts the public areas were spacious and comfortable staff were very attentive to our needs there were many interesting places to visit nearby but a car is a necessity altogether a very pleasant stopover and we would certainly consider a revisit prices are on the upper scale but good value for money
This hotel, built in 2001, is well located, at walking distance from the sea although no view from the hotel. Half way from both Honfleur and Deauville. The park is nice , the swimming pool well heated , but I will never understand why designers use slippery material to cover pool floors. There is no handrail anywhere to help getting down into the pool, my wife fall and I saw several clients having difficulties to avoid slipping. The hammam and sauna are closed everyday from noon to 4pm for unknown reasons. In total the hotel decoration and furniture needs a bit of refreshing e.g. the matresses which have a large hollow on each side. Rooms are large although old-fashioned. The restaurant is not worth the price. Some of the restaurant personnel are psychorigid, but I give a special mention to the young blonde lady who assist the breakfast for her gentleness and efficiency.…
We stayed here just after Christmas to visit farms on the Route de Cidre and top up on Calvados. The hotel and spa were lovely. The staff were so pleasant and helpful especially in the restaurant. There is plenty to do in nearby Honfleur and Deauville.
We received a good offer on the room and breakfast (Marine room over the spa). The only comments I have is that the decoration in the room and bathroom need refreshing and brightening up . The breakfast was excellent. We dined at the restaurant and it was very good. The spa is excellent, the massage was perfect.
