La Sarrizine is in a convenient location in Lorgues. Walking distance of town centre. The host Hillary is a warm, very friendly yet a “cut to the chase” sort of person. We liked her style. She is English, but has run La Sarrizine for many years and loves it. The booking process was efficient with very prompt replies. Breakfasts were... More

Staying for 7 nights at La Sarrazine we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, comfortable, homely, well equipped guest house. In Hilary you could not ask for a more entertaining, kind and thoughtful host. So many positives - lovely breakfasts, comfortable beds, great swimming pool, large bedroom and bathroom - no side stepping around things. Also aspects not to... More

Last week we were lucky enough to be able to stay at Hilary's lovely home in Lorgues with some good friends. It was all that we could have wished for: comfortable rooms, lovely food, gorgeous location, and a charming host. We enjoyed our delicious breakfasts in the garden, reading by the quiet pool (with the most amazing view), playing boules... More

This was a dream place to visit. Hilary Smith, our host is a wonderful landlady! Her estate is comfortable and M.Freddie Smith, the four legged resident is good fun too. We cannot speak highly enough, and knowing that Hilary says she will retire soon, I urge all those visiting Provence to make their bookings with her before she shuts up... More

A delightful stay in a lovely house. Hilary is a great hostess, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommended for a house party. Good position for visiting local area and vineyards in particular. Lorgues has an excellent Saturday market.

I don't think you could ask for more from a B&B. It is excellent in every way. The situation, within walking distance of Lorgues centre is extremely convenient, the house and garden are superb and characterful, the rooms comfortable and well-equipped and Hilary herself is a superb hostess. Even Freddy, her beloved dog, is charming and friendly. The restaurants around... More

We have recently returned from spending two nights at La Sarrazine where we had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay. The house is beautifully situated with lovely views of the surrounding countryside but is still only a short walk from the town of Lorgues. Hilary is a charming and welcoming hostess who went out of her way to make our... More

We were three couples with some nice reasons to celebrate; staying at La Sarrazine turned out to be the best decision we could have made. It is a wonderful place to relax - we used the pool - and had some nail-biting (!) games of Boule/Petanque each evening. We wanted a light meal one evening and our lovely, helpful hostess,... More

From the time you arrive you will feel totally at ease. Hillary is a super host and very knowledgeable about the area. La Sarrazine has just 3 rooms so it can feel like a house party. The views over Lorgues are wonderful and there are many restaurants in the town at only 10 minutes walk. The whole area around Lorgues,... More

We had three nights at La Sarrazine at the start of a two week tour of Provence. What a fabulous introduction to Provencal life. La Sarrazine show-cases Provencal living at its best; traditional house, terraced gardens, olive grove, stunning flowers, beautiful view, clean and welcoming room and wonderful hospitality courtesy of Hilary (who has great local knowledge) and Freddy.
