After travelling /sleeping almost everywhere in the world, i finally get in « les roches fleuries ». Simplicity elevated to excellence. Amazing view on the Mont Blanc, here nature is everywhere, hundreds of birds, relaxing atmosphere, beautifull rooms, local sourcing. The staff is welcoming and very attentive. Will come back soon.

We booked this hotel as part of our drive holiday in Italy, France and Spain. The occasion was our 40th wedding anniversary, so chose what we hoped would be relaxing environment. Our expectations were not only met but very much exceeded. The hotel's location is wonderful - facing Mont Blanc - absolutely stunning views. The customer service is excellent - hosts speak very good english, very friendly service - nothing too much to help. The room was stunning (need to remember this really is a ski lodge) and spacious. Sleep quality was excellent. Breakfast very good. Overall a very relaxing place - comes very highly recommended. Parking is free and right at the hotel. Location to die for, views to die for, customer service that makes you feel the trip was really worth it.

We stayed there three nights to escape town and the stress of our wedding preparation. We fell in love with our room, really authentic and nice, a typical beautiful chalet room. The bathroom was not that great especially the WC.
The hotel is nicely decorated and the view is REALLY outstanding. Very cosy place.
You can go the small (not that oustanding) SPA for free and they give you movies for free as well.
The cusine is really very good and it is a delight to go down for lunch or dinner in the dining room.
The breakfast room is a poem.

Initial impressions were good. Area was nice and rural, and our room was OK, however the bathroom was not clean and had hairs on the floor in the bath.

We had reserved dinner for us and our friends. We booked for 8pm and ordered starters and mains. However it took over 1h 30 for any food to arrive. We asked the staff several time where our food was, if there was some food we could snack on, and why the couple next to us who arrived after us had been served and finished eating. The staff seems busy and disinterested and said that they had to provide good service to other customers as well as us. We ended up cancelling our starters because it took so long. The white wine we ordered was given to us warm and without a wine bucket until we asked and managed to get one. Once our fondue arrived, we had to wait for bread, which arrived hard as rocks, which I was rudely told by the staff is how the french serve it. I had to ask several times for soft bread, which was finally brought.

At the end of our meal, we complained to a lady in a pink suit about the rude waitress, who would pass our feedback onto the manager in the morning when we check out. However upon checkout it was the rude waitress who stated she was indeed the manager! She was in complete denial about her rudeness, the bathroom cleanliness and that it was unacceptable for us to wait over 1h 30 for our food. She has no customer service skills and was very rude. We managed to have the dinner bill written off, but she was not happy about it and made no proper apology. This lady needs to learn customer service skills and also manners. I would not reccomend this hotel, as if anything goes wrong, you will have a rude, unsympathetic manager to deal with.

After a fantastic holiday in Austria and Italy we booked a room at 'Hotel Les Roches & Spa' on our way home to Belgium. As soon as we arrived in the hotel, we had a strange feeling. There was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage 3 floors, although you expect some help in a 4star hotel. We booked a family room, but the room of our children was so small that they even couldn't stand up. We went downstairs and asked if we could have a drink on the terrace. The answer of the manager was: ' No, we are having dinner and you have to wait for half an hour!'. My husband asked if this is really a 4 star hotel and she answered affirmative. The way she talked was extremely arrogant. She continued her dinner ON the terrace and we took a sea near to her, the other employees and a full ashtray. After a few minutes she threw a menu on the table (again in a very arrogant way) and said something about the 'corona'. We didn't understand what she exactly said, but I can confirm that the hotel wasn't corona proof! Enough is enough and we decided to leave immediately after a stay of 1,5hour.
Please do not believe the positive reviews, because I really have to feeling they are all written by them selfs.
This is not a 4 star hotel!!!!!

Recently stayed at the hotel and had high expectations given the reviews, and relative cost of the hotel for the area. Decided to spend the additional money as a special Christmas present with my partner to ski in the local area.

Whole experience was spoilt by the attitude of the management when we raised a complaint. This included not having hot water, wi-fi working sporadically etc. Partner was also ill during the stay.

Management response to this in writing was incredibly ill-mannered and dismissive - was truly shocked by it. Having read other negative customer service experiences here, was not expecting much in response, but the tone of this mail was incredibly rude for a hotel. From this alone I cannot recommend it.

We stayed in this hotel with my partner for romantic getaway beautiful cute rooms but small room for the price. there are a few negative things we had to say, first of is the Spa. The Spa wasn't complete we only use the jacuzzi no sauna.

During the Service of the day at the poolside, there was no waiter so my partner needed to go to the reception to find someone to serve us.

In the morning for breakfast, I was shocked to see how rude the manager (a woman) talk to one of the elderly guests in front of everyone.

In spite of all that during the evening the service was a different story, we were served with delicious and amazing dinner! with the nicest maitre d'hotel who made our stay wonderful and all staff who worked during the evening in the restaurant.

The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable.
BUT if you forget anything their - don't expect the staff to return it back to you!!! we left our swimsuits in our bathroom, but when we called hotel the next day the receptionist told us that nothing was found!!!moreover, the nice girl turned into rude!!!no "sorry", no "we apologies", just "I told you there were nothing in your room"! such a shame for 4* hotel and for a human in general! hope you look nice in my wife's swimsuit and sleep well!

We came on a family ski vacation with our two sons and were placed in two tiny rooms. Ours had a sink that splattered us every time we used it and had no space to set anything down. We did have a lovely view but were quite cramped. The hairdryers in both of our rooms did not work and the towels had threads hanging off the edges. We had free wifi - a little slow.

The hotel itself is about 15 kilometers from the Megeve slopes. We were told that there was a free shuttle but when we arrived we were not informed that we had to reserve it the night before so on our first morning we were stuck waiting. There is no nightlife at all so be prepared to drive along very windy roads to get to the nearest restaurant.

The building itself is attractive and has a nice little sledding slope outside. It also has a pool table and pretty fireplace. The foosball and air hockey are in a separate building for which you have to ask for a key and then pay 1 Euro/2 Euros respectively per game.

Our package included two meals- one in the Savoyard specialty restaurant and one in the so-called restaurant gastronomique. The service was terrible in the Savoyard restaurant- the poor server had to go outside every time he had to get anything from the kitchen so we were constantly blasted with cold air as he went in and out. He was the only waiter in a crowded dining room. He was exhausted but tried to do his best, The food took forever to arrive even though we had to pre-order that morning- nothing complicated, mind you (fondue and raclette). Our entrees arrived cold. Surprise surprise.
The other meal in the gourmet restaurant was merely average and we were told what our package menu was- no choice.

The breakfast was nice: copious and varied.
The views over the Mont Blanc are indeed stunning but the whole experience was more like a 3 rather than a 4 star hotel.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and booked this hotel as it was supposedly 4* but did not meet our expectations. We enjoyed the spectacular view over the mountains from our balcony and the free shuttle bus to the ski resort. However when we came back after a days skiing on the first day, there was no hot water. We were told to wait 15-20mins as everyone was showering at the same time. We waited and still no hot water so had to take a cold shower. This quite simply is not good enough. The internet was very flaky and didn't work a lot of the time during our stay, it kept cutting off. The rooms are dated, in particular the bathroom is awful, there is a separate toilet in the bathroom in a small cupboard - very odd. There is no thermostat/air conditioning so the rooms are constantly boiling hot. Whilst breakfast was average - typical continental style, dinner was very poor. We ordered off the A la carte menu - I wanted something light so went for the omelette. When it arrived it was very greasy and heavy and the salad was covered in dressing- I couldn't eat all of it and it didn't taste good. Six hours later I woke up in the night and was very very sick throughout the night. I can't say for sure it was from what I ate but I hadn't eaten anything else since midday so I'm fairly certain it was my meal at the hotel that made me ill. It completely ruined our stay at the hotel as it meant we couldn't go skiing the next day as I was too sick. The receptionist was not apologetic but after arguing with her she agreed to remove the cost of the dinner from the bill. We had also been charged for breakfast which I hadn't eaten as I'd been too ill. Overall the hotel stay was very expensive and poor value for money and did not reflect my expectations of a 4* hotel, at best a 3*. I would not stay again and would not recommend it.
