This is our second visit to SKB and second time that my family and I have opted to stay at TBR. Quite frankly we don't see ourselves staying anywhere else on our visits to SKB. All thanks to Laurel!!! From booking through to departure. She's full of courtesy and hospitality. Very encouraging customer service. We truly look forward to visiting SKB because of our experience at TBR!

We finally made it back to Timothy Beach after 2 years of covid shut down and we were not sure what we would find due to many changes...a lot of construction and new expansion as well as the challenge for them to stay afloat during pandemic. We were so happy to find they not only survived, but also improved the beach area, maintained rooms in great shape and staff is still professional, friendly, and do anything to accommodate any requests or issues. There is some quite loud construction going on next door and when we first arrived we thought it might make it very difficult to enjoy our stay, but after a few days we were able to "block it out". We had a very difficult time getting all requirements to enter St. Kitts submitted, but Laurel and Shelda at front desk went above and beyond to get us there! We go back every year (this was our 16th) because everything we need/want is right there...lovely pool, great beach, bar and restaurant, proximity to the strip, comfortable clean rooms, and the best staff ever!! Did I mention the spectacular sunsets? I highly recommend you stay here if you want to feel "at home" As soon as we leave with a heavy heart we are thinking about returning the following year. I would recommend you go to Lion Rock Beach, fish with Speedy 4, and take an island tour with Uncle Millie or Alphonso!! Relax, enjoy, and "rush slowly".

Nice stay. Perfect location, right on the beach. Pool well maintained. Staff friendly. Good sized room, cleaned daily and towel change daily. Food not very exciting but there are plenty of nearby options. The Dock, their beach bar, is a nice place to sit in the evening but wasn't always open. Clean, comfortable, average hotel.

Fabulous out-of-the-way beach bar right on a small reef. A quick 20-minute taxi ride from the cruise port. Started out with yummy rummy Painkillers and lounging in chaises under a quaint palapa providing just enough shade on the narrow, quiet, black sand beach. The restaurant has probably the best snapper tacos ever! You can rent snorkel equipment for only 10 bucks. Buckets of old beers. Shy wild monkeys come down from the hill (and will LOVE you forever for one banana or apple). Mary and Kim run a great place and we will definitely be back!!

The Timothy Beach Resort Hotel is right on Frigate Bay beach. It is an older hotel, but that is what gives it its charm and real Caribbean island feel. Reception is small, but welcoming with safety deposit boxes for guests to use as there are no safes in the rooms. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was typical Caribbean style. This consisted of a bedroom and kitchen diner with a small bathroom with shower. The rooms went onto a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings fitted the Caribbean theme. There was a large fridge freezer with ice maker and sufficient cooking utensils. Housekeeping is excellent. The pool is on the small size, but with enough length to swim in. It was well kept with number of sun lounges and wicker chairs poolside. There is a bar and small restaurant attached to the hotel. There are also beach bars yards away on Frigate beach. Behind the hotel the hillside contained mongoose and African Green monkeys. As we were staying in their low season it was quiet and comfortable. It got a little busy when a cruise ship came in to port Zante. So don’t expect this hotel to be a ‘Marriott’. It is what it is, an older hotel in the Caribbean style. Overall a pleasant hotel. Well situated for the beach and bars with nice staff. For information because Frigate Bay is on the Caribbean Sea side of the island there was no seaweed clogging up the beach. This is unlike beaches on the Atlantic side that were heavily covered.

My wife and I visited Timothy Beach Resort in February 2019 and again in February 2023 and have booked again for February 2024 so we obviously like it! The staff are, without exception, always cheerful, most helpful and a wonderful testament to the Resort. Every interaction with them was 100% positive, wether it be with the exceedingly helpful, smiling Reception staff (shout out to our new friend Laurel), or the daily cleaning lady, the bar staff (always helpful, providing buckets of ice when requested) and the maintenance boys, always happy to help with the beach sunbeds. The position of the Resort within stepping distance of the warm Caribbean Sea, is second to none. The pool is as near as you coud wish with wonderful morning and evening sun rises and sunsets enjoyed from the terrace. Our only concern is that the Resort will change it’s friendly atmosphere, unique Caribbean feel and its excellent value. We would spend all of our UK winters at the sunny, smiley, welcoming Timothy Beach Resort if we could!

We stayed at Timothy Beach Hotel for a week in May. We chose to stay here as we wanted to be on the Caribbean side of the Island and we liked it's close proximity to the strip. We arrived and check in was quick, and we were shown to our room. Our room was massive, and decor a little dated! Air con worked really well though. There was a couple of small issues with the room - the bathroom bin had not been emptied from the previous guests and this took a couple of days to be emptied. The bedding was stained, looked like rust type stain rather than anything untoward but still a little unpleasant. The bed was also quite hard, but it didn't stop us from sleeping. The reception staff were really helpful, they even let us borrow a plug convertor as we forgot to bring the correct one! Location of the hotel was great, taxis readily available from the front. Easily walkable to restaurants and the supermarket. The beach was lovely, sunbeds were put out in the morning, I would have preferred them to be a bit further apart from each other, but as we were there in off season it was super quiet. he beach bar didn't open a few days, but we were still able to get drinks from Sunset so it wasn't an issue. We didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely when we walked past. We had breakfast in Sunset most mornings, it was good and relatively priced. Service was great, until the end of the week when there was a golf group in, priority was given to them and it took a lot longer to be served, but this was only a couple of days. Our transfer home was middle of the afternoon and we were kindly allowed to keep our room until 2pm (check out was 12pm) for no cost, which made it a lot easier for us. There are no safes/security boxes in the rooms, but they are available at reception, but it did mean that you can only access when reception is open. It wasn't a huge issue, but I would prefer one in the room. We had no issues with the construction work, there was some noise, but nothing to bother us. All in all, a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend and hopefully we will return one day.

This is an older resort, but it is still a gem. If you look hard enough, you can find flaws, but I would stay here time and time again. It is more affordable than most places on the island. It is located on the beach/ocean. Best of all, it is across the street from the famous Strip. This is where all of the fun happens. Good music, food and drinks. Great for families and couples. I loved it and we will be back.
