We stayed here as it was a convenient distance to a wedding we were attending at Brinkburn Priory. Rooms were very clean, with decent coffee making facilities in the room and nice location. Bed was a little firm for my liking though, could do with a mattress topper.

Very warm welcome, lovely clean room and a fabulous afternoon tea. Prosecco was good as well. Breakfast wasnt the best I have ever had but it was okay. There wasn't a lift so you would struggle if you were disabled or had bad knees. We would stay here again.

Going to a wedding at Brinkburn Priory and chose this hotel - very glad we did! Easy walking distance into the lovely town of Rothbury, really friendly team - lovely bar, good coffee and great food. Good night's sleep too in a comfortable bed and well-appointed bedroom.

I'm sorry but I don't know whether the hotel's restaurant is open or not. There are other places in Rothbury. We had a good meal at the Newcastle House in the village. Good food and pleasant surroundings. Hope you enjoy your trip

We had a big room which was superior but was cold and moved to an upstairs room which was warm and cosy, we had good food and enjoyed the stay - understand the comments above, it all depends what you are wanting and expecting.
