One of our favorite place to stay while visiting Norway. Nice and clean facility. Stayed in cabin #3 which has all facilities to stay for 10-15-20-more days. Kitchen has all utensils and plate. Just go to market and get bring some groceries so you can cook. Bathroom and toilet are inside the cabin so it's luxury.!! We requested clean bedsheet, pillow cover and blanket which cost 100 NOK extra per person but it was worth it as we did not carry from our home. Also they have common laundry room (washing machine) so we even washed our clothes. (not free). Owner are very nice people as other norwegian.! In future we will stay again for 7-10 days.!! This time we only spend 1 night there and we loved it. Even kids enjoyed it.

The best camping in Romsdalen with a stunning view up to the Trollwall. Nice facilities and great cabins. Always clean and proper toilets. Nice place for a barbeque with fireplace and everything. Will definitely come back

Rented a cabin here as base for our Geiranger and Ålesund trips. Great clean cabins in beautiful setting Only negative was that there was nobody there when we were ready for check-out and no instructions what to do, so had to call them.

Located at the very foot of the massive Trollveggen wall, they have an advantage over most other campings in the area. But it doesn't stop with location. Even though not at all a de luxe location, the family who operates it, does it with flair. WCs and washrooms are kept neat and clean. Free WiFi is accessible all over the camping (don't expect it to be lightning fast, though). Any downsides? - Well, showers weren't always delivering hot water, despite you actually paying for it. - Entrance to the camping ground is closed at 10 pm (22:00), which wasn't popular with us, after arriving late from a long and strenuous hike. I should mention the lovely family Leren who owns the camping. Trygve and Åse are truly top class and should set an example for others to follow, both in the area and elsewhere (yes, I'm talking to you Olav!).

Review collected in partnership with VisitNorway.com
Trollveggan ridge towers over the site and the trolls look down to the sleeping campers - so said the member our our party who struggled up the ladder into the top floor of the cabin (handles would really help!) Cabin otherwise was great and fantastic value for money. Walk to the waterfall was a surprise. Staff were friendly and helpful! Trolls had vanished by the morning - we wondered what they were smoking ..... the most set inn No hesitation in recommending!
