I stayed here in January taking a twin beded room.

This is my third visit .

I think the hotel is very dated the rooms are glum and the heating i found baffling ,having to call the reception to sort the heating out .

I slept well ,I found the single bed two small .

Breakfast is good though.

Location is great

This place is a real bargain, located right on the sandy beachfront of Rincon de la Victoria. It has its own beach bar where you can rent hamacas for the day for €5. The hotel itself is clean and spacious if a little tired (lots of dark wood). Staff are so friendly and helpful, especially if you speak a little Spanish. Our room was facing the busy road but had a big corner balcony. Would try and get a sea view room if we stayed again as the road is very noisy throughout the night. Overall would certainly stay here again

Lovely hotel.
It’s very reasonably priced. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the decor is just fine. The staff are super professional and accommodating
I’m surprised that anyone would complain about any of the above given its fabulous location right in the beach with its own beach cafe/bar- also on beach. And its own section of beach beds. Each room has excellent free WiFi plus aircon that chills the room. And a spacious attractive balcony. I was working 4 hrs a day, just went away to relax and get some Vitamin D. Mostly Spanish guests. My only complaint is the breakfast. The hot food was cold. Maybe that’s because I was last minute. Every morning. The juices were awful. The overall selection wasn’t great. The fruit was good though. Loads of fruit. Love this hotel and location. I give it 9 out of 10.

I cannot abide rude staff! When you keep people in a job by staying in their establishment shouldn't guests be treated with a modicum of gentility?
I asked for a pot of water to take to my room, the guy wasnt busy, there was hardly anyone staying due to covid drama. When I pointed out it was so full I couldn't carry it without spilling it, the guy got so irritated he grabbed the pot and carelessly threw some water out! Leaving half a pot! He was rude and argumentative when I said there was no need to throw out so much!I asked the guy on the desk to come and help. He took the other guys side, told me to calm down as THEY were having a hard time! Seriously?? Wouldnt they be having a harder time if they didnt have jobs because no one stayed?
Well I sincerely wish I had not booked for 5 days, I feel very unwelcome and would advise anyone thinking about booking here to chose somewhere else.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We reached the hotel late at night around 21:30 for check-in, and the reception was so kind and straight away, said our room is ready and we can go have dinner (we booked halg board) abd then do check-in formalities. We were given room to roadside view, we requested if its possible to get a sea view room and luckily we got one but for extra cost. The room was very tidy and good modern bathrooms too. Our room had a big balcony with sunrise and sunset views. The beach is the backyard of this hotel. We can walk right through the restaurant and reach the beach.

We had breakfast and dinner part of our booking. Breakfast is a buffet. Dinner has 3 course style menus for each day. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good. We tried most of their dishes, and all of them were good.

The staff are a nice bunch of people, speak limited english but very helpful in all possible ways.

The hotel is 30 mins from the airport, and we used Uber, which cost around €35 to get there. The road where the hotel is located has a lot of restaurants and cafes and nice walking paths along the beach.

We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Malaga

Just got back from a week in Rincon de la Victoria in Hotel Rincon Sol. Solo traveller so a little apprehensive. Started badly as I got my admin all wrong and had a problem with credit card and inboard boarding pass. I have nothing but praise for all the staff in this hotel from waiters to housekeeping, but the reception staff were outstanding! They put their heads together and sorted both problems and saved my holiday from disaster! I am so grateful to them for their sympathy and help. I had a sea view and was able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from my tiny but adequate balcony. The beach is just across the path and sunbeds and towels are available from the hotel. I loved the resort, so much going on, a great selection of bars and restaurants on the beach road and buses up and down the coast are available from the front of the hotel. The little red train was well worth the 3 euros and provided a great overview of the resort with a commentary of the historical sites locally.

We have stayed here before and whilst it is not 5 star luxury it is absolutely brilliant fir the price. Only half an hour ( normally) from Malaga airport it is great to stay here night before an early flight. It is in a beautiful location on the beach with loads of restaurants nearby. Great buffet breakfast including bacon and eggs and even beans!!
Comfortable bed and wifi

Really disappointed this time …. I’ve stayed at the Rincon Sol for years now; usually twice a year, the only time I’ve missed was during covid. Unfortunately this was the worst stay to date.

I’d booked a sea view room and was unlucky to be given one of the small rooms on the left hand side as you look at the hotel from the beach. The room was tiny; it was a struggle to walk between the bottom of the bed and the desk. Width wise the room was not much better with very limited space between the bed and wardrobe, so I used the top of the refrigerator cabinet as my wardrobe.

Bathroom was big enough although not that clean. There were 2 long black hairs in the shower the day we arrived, and 3 days later they were still there when we left. The floor in the room wasn’t particularly clean either. I wandered around the room bare foot and my feet were filthy.

Similarly I’ve had better breakfast here in the past. The scrambled egg/ omelette was crusty and looked like it had been there for some hours.

I really like Rincon, it’s much more Spanish than other resorts I’ve visited in this area, and normally like the Rincon Sol. It’s not a 5 star hotel but normally does a good enough job to keep me coming back. I hope my experience this time is a one off and they’re back to normal next time I visit.

A wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The hotel was full of mainly Spanish guests which was good as we went away to get away from fellow Brits for a week! Sadly our room was at the back with no sea view. The room was very clean and fairly modern. We stayed half board and the menu was changed daily. The food was very good and plentiful. The breakfast selection was one of the best at any hotel we've ever stayed at. The hotel backs directly onto the beach so there was no need of a swimming pool! I highly recommend this hotel. One minor gripe was that one of the pillows had a dirty mark on it but that was changed the very next day.

Amazing location right by the beach - it was glorious to be able to wander out to the sea at any time of the day or night. Also very close to a bus stop with a bus that took us straight to city centre, and to some excellent restaurants. Very good service - they were patient with our questions, helped us promptly with everything we asked for from calling a taxi to lending us games to play.

Given the overall standard and efficiency of this hotel, I’d be surprised if there weren’t night staff on duty to deal with late arrivals.

Haven’t been at that time of year, but shouldn’t be a problem. Quite a few restaurants look as if they are year-round venues.

If the sun comes out it is generally warm, you would need a jacket for night and early morning
