This is my third visit .
I think the hotel is very dated the rooms are glum and the heating i found baffling ,having to call the reception to sort the heating out .
I slept well ,I found the single bed two small .
Breakfast is good though.
Location is great
It’s very reasonably priced. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the decor is just fine. The staff are super professional and accommodating
I’m surprised that anyone would complain about any of the above given its fabulous location right in the beach with its own beach cafe/bar- also on beach. And its own section of beach beds. Each room has excellent free WiFi plus aircon that chills the room. And a spacious attractive balcony. I was working 4 hrs a day, just went away to relax and get some Vitamin D. Mostly Spanish guests. My only complaint is the breakfast. The hot food was cold. Maybe that’s because I was last minute. Every morning. The juices were awful. The overall selection wasn’t great. The fruit was good though. Loads of fruit. Love this hotel and location. I give it 9 out of 10.
I asked for a pot of water to take to my room, the guy wasnt busy, there was hardly anyone staying due to covid drama. When I pointed out it was so full I couldn't carry it without spilling it, the guy got so irritated he grabbed the pot and carelessly threw some water out! Leaving half a pot! He was rude and argumentative when I said there was no need to throw out so much!I asked the guy on the desk to come and help. He took the other guys side, told me to calm down as THEY were having a hard time! Seriously?? Wouldnt they be having a harder time if they didnt have jobs because no one stayed?
Well I sincerely wish I had not booked for 5 days, I feel very unwelcome and would advise anyone thinking about booking here to chose somewhere else.
We had breakfast and dinner part of our booking. Breakfast is a buffet. Dinner has 3 course style menus for each day. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good. We tried most of their dishes, and all of them were good.
The staff are a nice bunch of people, speak limited english but very helpful in all possible ways.
The hotel is 30 mins from the airport, and we used Uber, which cost around €35 to get there. The road where the hotel is located has a lot of restaurants and cafes and nice walking paths along the beach.
We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Malaga

I’d booked a sea view room and was unlucky to be given one of the small rooms on the left hand side as you look at the hotel from the beach. The room was tiny; it was a struggle to walk between the bottom of the bed and the desk. Width wise the room was not much better with very limited space between the bed and wardrobe, so I used the top of the refrigerator cabinet as my wardrobe.
Bathroom was big enough although not that clean. There were 2 long black hairs in the shower the day we arrived, and 3 days later they were still there when we left. The floor in the room wasn’t particularly clean either. I wandered around the room bare foot and my feet were filthy.
Similarly I’ve had better breakfast here in the past. The scrambled egg/ omelette was crusty and looked like it had been there for some hours.
I really like Rincon, it’s much more Spanish than other resorts I’ve visited in this area, and normally like the Rincon Sol. It’s not a 5 star hotel but normally does a good enough job to keep me coming back. I hope my experience this time is a one off and they’re back to normal next time I visit.
