Tips:
Take your own fan, cheaper than renting.
Take some washing up liquid, oil & sachet sauces - saves buying larger bottles.
The rooms were in need of a refurbishment but it was clean & serviced almost daily by the hardworking cleaning team.

First of all I’ve read some reviews about the resort and yes it is quiet but plenty to do for a family in my eyes. A beach, a pool, lovely bars and restaurants with evening entertainment. We did hire a car this time for a few days and wish we had done it longer. We visited Siam park (amazing) las Americas And puerto colon where where was an inflatable water park that my kids loved.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment room
15. Our view was of another wall so a disappointment but it was quiet and after reading reviews we decided to stay put rather than possibly be moved to a noisy apartment with better views. The apartment was a good size and pleasant however it needed some TLC in places and I would not say it was cleaned to the standard I would like. The cleaning schedule was odd. The rooms seemed to be cleaned a few days in a row then nothing for days and they loved an early morning wake up call. The kitchen was a decent size but very basically equipped. We found the lack of air con impossible so are our most nights as cooking in that heat was unbearable ( however we knew we had no air con when we booked).
The pool is small, smaller than it looks on the photos although my kids weee happy enough with it. Some days it was really easy to get a sunbed and others it was nearly impossible there was no 2 days the same. However there was an issue with the pool when we were there and the water was changed a number of times as it was turning peoples swimwear green. We were given a late checkout as compensation for this. The advertised pool bar being closed was disappointing and lack of music at the pool gave little atmosphere. (If you fancy a change of pool tipsy terrace is just across the road you can pay to use the pool there for the day).
In my opinion the cost of fab hire was expensive and the additional for wifi too. Please note that you are asked to only use 2 devices at a time in wifi and it’s hit and miss at tomes.
I’ve attached some photos so you can see the room.
Recommendations if you are booked to stay:
Restaurant s
Jardin de Sol

water park)
The harbour
The small beach near the harbour
As I said you get what you pay for and I would say the place is OK. However next time I will pay more as it wasn’t for us.

The pool area was lovely, pool lovely and clean but not heated but did not stop us using it as the temperature got up to 31 degrees towards the end, every morning we could hear the pool being cleaned every morning and all the sun loungers washed down, they were very comfy with tables and parasols. Also met lots of lovely people around the pool.
Everywhere we ate was lovely, Tipsy Terrace and Buen Gusto across the road. Lovely pizza and creperie (near the 60's Bar) in town. The only place we didnt like was the local Indian restaurant as we felt all the dishes tasted the same!
The terrace bar has entertainment on a Wednesday and Sunday by a lovely guy Tony who plays the guitar and songs from all eras.
We visited Siam Park which was enjoyed by all, cost around £30 each. We also did the Dolphin and Whale Boat trip on Nashira Uno which cost 35 euros each but was worth every penny, 3 hour trip with food and drink, crew were lovely and we got to swim in the sea and also saw lots of dolphins and 1 whale. We were also only a 10 minute walk to the harbour and small beach, lots of lovely shops along the way to browse in.
If you are in any doubt about staying at here, don't be, yes they are basic but gives you everything you need and we did not feel we were staying in a 2 star place.
My husband and I are already planning to return in August.

Pool was perfect, albeit quite small but had plenty of sun beds.
We had to pay €20 euros for the WiFi for the week which was disappointing especially as could only use 2 devices at same time but was a must when travelling with teens!
Los Gigantes was lovely and chilled although very hilly but felt very safe and lots of lovely little restaurants and bars.
Staff were great, all very friendly and helpful
Seen a few reviews that the Wi-Fi wasn’t good, however I had no issues with it at all and thought it worked really well
Apartments are basic, clean and good sized, absolutely no complaints, our apartment (number 21) faced right onto the pool, 10 steps outside and you were at the edge of the pool 😃
Our balcony also looked onto the pool from the side
Our room was a 1 bed apartment, had 2 twins in the room and another single in the living room with a couch that could convert into another bed
Really spacious and balcony was also a really good size
We hired a fan (20€ per week) as the rooms have no fans/air con
Apartments are close to lots of places to eat/shops/bars and a nice walk down to the harbour
Pool is smaller than we are used to but it was never too crowded or busy, got sunloungers easily enough also
Only downside is the pool bar hasn’t opened again since COVID, think they would make a wee fortune from this so it’s a shame 😔
There is a vending machine that has bottles of Fanta/coke/sprite etc for 1.20€
Would definitely return and recommend 👍🏻
It was very cheap so didn't expect much but the room is spacious, clean and has beautiful views (if you're lucky to get a second floor overlooking the sea).
The beds are being reserved as early as 5am which is insane but if you want a bed, just remove the towels! Pool is clean, as is the surrounding grounds.
Location is ok, close to supermarket and Lidl is up the hill but please bear in mind this area is extremely quiet, not much evening entertainment and only a handful of decent restaurants.
Night porter Otto is great, very friendly and helpful, cleaning staff are also really friendly.
I could do with fresh towels and bedding though, they seem to just make the beds and hang the towels back up.
All in all....it's ok but you get what you pay for.
I've scored a two but I don't think it's poor, it reflects a two star establishment.
Due to COVID, we weren't able to get out again March 2022 but we enjoyed it just as much this time around. We had room 11, so we overlooked the pool area, which was cleaned every morning, but at no point did we hear any noise from the cleaners or any early risers - no sunbed reserving that we saw during our stay, shame the pool bar was closed but we nipped to the shop over the road for drinks, no big deal for us. The noise from the building works were background noise at best and didn't disturb our sleep, despite being at the rear of the complex, nor did it bother our sunbathing time.
We've booked to go back in September 2022 and are taking friends with us - hope they enjoy it the complex and the area as much as we do!
The apartments are in a very good position half way up the hill, between the beach and the supermarket.
The bus stop was across the road and the 10 euro day ticket each took us all around the island. For shorter trips bought a ticket on the bus.
Walked to rock pools Puerta de Santiago and Plays Arena.
Pool was ideal for us, never any problem with getting a sun lounger by the pool.
All in all a good value holiday.
