The room wa clean and people very nice. The restaurant is also very good, with tasty food for a good price. Advices from people were nice. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommand this hotel. Spa is clean and very relaxing.

The hotel is pretty from the outside but the inside is a different story. The rooms look old, the sauna was not working, the spa was no spa, no massages. They do not return your money if you aren't satisfied.

This is a 'well away from it all' contrast to the tourist hotels down on the coast. A rustic, not immaculately-presented hotel yet quirky and with a charm of it's own. An isolated spot 7kms below Vilaflor so a car is a must have. Walk off site and up the hill and within 100 yards you encounter an abandoned part-complete...

What a little gem of an hotel set in the mountains of Tenerife! But a car is a must or taxi! It's charming with it's old style Spanish looks, meet a lot of mountain walkers here for one night stop over, indoor and outdoor pool with hot tubs .

Firstly we loved the place. Absolutely beautiful 18th century rustic villa that is full of charm and couldn't be further removed from the monstrous hotel blocks amidst the hustle and bustle nearer in the nearby resorts. The pool area and jacuzzi - also very pleasant although in January the outside pool was too cold to enjoy but the garden area...

Advertised on booking.com as a 4* and I paid extra for a superior room expecting even better than basic. TV didn't work, plaster repaired and not painted, curtains were grubby, beds were dated and inexpensive when new, bedding( using better for dust sheets), bathroom fittings were badly corroded some of which had been poorly repaired, shower was a tiny 760x760...

As mentioned in other reviews Hotel Nogal is about 7km outside Vilaflor. It is a quirky place. The old part of the hotel, where our room was, is bit of a rabbit warren, corridors up and down past old farm implements and copper pots etc. Our room was small, the air conditioning and tv did not work and many of...

Tired, moldy hotel. Very bad smell in the rooms. Breakfast very lousy. Whatever you do, do NOT go to the restaurant. They cook the tuna into dust, of you are lucky enough to get hold of the waiter, who ignores you for 3 hours. :(

First the good. Nice building and spa. The service in the restaurant is good especially Raul. Food was good and not over priced for a hotel restaurant. Location is tranquil. The bad At breakfast we found the eggs were cooked with ham. We politely asked in Spanish for eggs without ham as my girlfriend is a vegetarian and the waitress...

The service was horrible. Very rude. One of my customers was shout by the manager. We were amazed that we couldn't buy a bottle of water in the restaurant between 22 and 12 hours. The restaurant is totally overpriced. 22 euros the menu, and the service is very slow. Better get a taxi and go 5 kilometers down to another...
