Four of us went to celebrate our wedding anniversaries, I thought this hotel looked a little tired and in need of a make over paint wise. We were all so very surprised once we were checked in. The rooms were very spacious ,very clean and then you open your balcony shutters to the most amazing view of a huge sandy... More

Hotel Bahia occupies an enviable position right on the beach at Bahia de Mazarron. It has been a firm favourite with Spanish families for many many year and there are many repeat clients. The hotel is under a constant refurbishment programme of its bedrooms- no disruption whilst you are there! The staff are delightful in all areas and you are... More

Location right on the beach was great, the room was basic but spacious, larger than average comfortable twin beds and it looked like a brand new bathroom. Large balcony with great sea views but it wasn't very clean and the outdoor furniture a little dated. Probably quite difficult to keep clean with the amount of seagulls around. Obviously a very... OK, the hotel is dated but the staff were excellent. The views from the terrace are fantastic. Rooms very clean but basic, but all you need for a short stay. I am staying here again for one night in July, and I do look forward to it, so that must indicate that it is a reasonable place to stay!

Perfect location right on the beach. Huge balcony with the room, and efficient AC. Hotel is stuck in the 1950s. Entrance is a bit off putting as the ceiling is covered by huge rubber plants, all dropping leaves etc all day making a right mess! The beds were very comfortable with memory foam tops, but agin the rooms doors etc... More

Great location, on the beach with fantastic views from the balcony. Room and bathroom were modern but the rest of the hotel is somewhat dated. Great service. The perfect place for relaxation. Good restaurants are a 2km walk away on the Marina.

Hotel situated right on the beach and has lovely terrace with live entertainment every night in the summer. Mainly Spanish clients- it is lovely to see extended families all enjoying the day at beach together. I have no doubt this hotel was the place to stay at one point in history?- yes , it is 'fading' around the edges but... More

This place was obviously once glamorous but is now rather tired. We were there in may and the hotel and the whole town seemed deserted. Some English spoken at reception. The one glamorous thing about this hotel that has not changed is its location. Directly fronting the beach and the sea, the views are amazing. The room we had was... More

The location is great, quiet and perfect to just walk out to the beach. There are lots of hotels in that town, but this one is the most romantic. It's not a new hotel, but the location and beach, the terrace by the beach... it is a perfect getaway.
