Stayed here from the 11th-18th sep checked in was easy and straightforward reception staff very friendly had to download all about hotel on a qr code rooms cleaned everyday to a good standard towels renewed every day we upgraded to a sea and pool view worth every penny overlooking the sea and beach .food at breakfast dinner and evening meals were very good with loads of choices.evening entertainment was very poor and hotel at night got a little boring pool was good but a little deep in parts nice little beach with a beach bar which was great for cocktails magaluf was only 3km away or palma nova around 4km away sun beds were all taken up by 8am but sun loungers on the 5th floor were always plenty full taxi into magaluf around 5euros around a 5 min drive lifts were a little slow at times overall I would recommend this hotel lovely relaxing and if you want a bit more lively atmosphere go up to magaluf loads of great bars and restaurants to visit we went to Blackbeard’s bar and grill which was great I will be returning soon thanks for a great week away just sort out the evening entertainment ps thanks to the lady on reception called racheal

Stayed here a few weeks ago and what a wonderful hotel it is. Fantastic views of the bay. Very clean hotel and great choice of food - we were all inclusive. Only downside was the sunbeds were all taken early morning and not enough umbrellas to go round. An elderly bar man has a bad attitude but all other staff all around the hotel were fabulous. Would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to stay there.

Not as expected. Food generally very good but served in a cafeteria atmosphere with much clanking, scrapping and banging of plates. Good outside pool but classic sun lounger towel reservation by 0730 scenario. Immediate local area short on amenities, couple small supermarkets, one bar and an OK restaurant. Worth hiring a car for which you have to pay to park in hotel, as you do if you want to use the room safe. Small balcony with good view but no external light to enable you to use at night. Staff worked hard and were helpful and friendly. Room was average, no obvious sign of being revamped. No toiletries provided other than 2 soap on the wall dispensers in the bathroom and no glasses just paper cups (covid excuse not valid as glasses in common areas). Room service had to be chased up several times due to not topping up when tea station used.

During our stay i had left my insulin pen on my dinner table while i went for food at the buffet, the service staff took it to the reception staff, they then placed it in a fridge. I was very impressed that the knew that it was an insulin pen and that they placed it in the fridge, the staff were excellent and very communicative. i would return to this hotel for the staff service alone never mind the stunning views and facilities.

We are on our last day of a 9 night holiday at Globables Cala Vinas Hotel and wow what a holiday! For a start, the views are amazing, never seen views like it from a hotel, haven’t stopped looking at the sea for the whole 9 days. Food- the best all inclusive food we have ever had. They try to change it up daily, even at breakfast the do different types of sausages, potato etc to make it a bit different everyday. Amazing fruit, salad and dessert selection. We are very fussy eaters and we were both more than satisfied at each meal. Also there is a snack bar within the pool bar which is open all day where all food is made to order so everything is piping hot. Drinks- good all inclusive options - beer, wine, cocktails. Cocktails are out of a bottle and topped up with juice, not strong in the slightest but still taste very good! They make fresh cocktails if you pay, which are also very good! Only down side is if you want bottled water you have to pay extra and the only water fountain is at the pool bar all the way on the bottom floor (we were on the 11th floor) but it isn’t the end of the world and didn’t affect us too much - there is a shop over the road that we bought bottled water from and put in the fridge in our room. Pool- there is the main pool where the sun beds are an issue with people reserving them and then disappearing for most of the day and as we are late risers we never got a bed there but there is a lovely terrace on the 5th floor where there are always sun beds to spare and it has a pool. Only downside of the 5th floor is the bar isn’t open at the moment but there are lifts straight to the pool bar so we didn’t find it that much of a problem. There is access to the beach from the main pool which is very handy but be warned it’s very deep. You can walk in from the shore which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel which i would recommend instead if your not a confident swimmer. Room- very clean, has a fridge, hairdryer and a tv with English channels. Lovely nice sized balcony too. Rooms cleaned daily, housekeeping team are very nice. Air con also very good! Animation team- so approachable and lovely! Really look like they love their job, always full of energy and are a credit to the hotel. They also don’t try to push you into joining in if you don’t want to which we very much appreciated. Staff - most staff are okay, some, especially on reception can come across quite rude and unhelpful but at the staff on the bars are lovely, especially the older man on the bar near reception on an evening. Also on check in we didn’t get given any information about the hotel, when meal times were etc. and we’re quite rude when we asked about upgrading to a sea view room, being told to come back the next day. When we did we were told there weren’t any, then when pushing it were told there was one but it was on the 3rd floor (not much view the lower you are) and it would be €35 extra per night!!! Also safe in room is very expensive, we didn’t bother. The hotel felt safe enough, we just locked our passports, money etc. in our case. Entertainment - there isn’t really any. There is a lovely cave bar (have to get there before 8pm to get a seat) and that is where the ‘entertainment’ is on an evening which is generally just live music or bingo/music quiz twice a week. But magaluf is literally a 20 min walk/5 min taxi and palma nova isn’t much further so you can always go there on an evening if you prefer a bit more nightlife. The reception also order a taxi for you. You would never know the hotel is that close to magaluf though, the area is so quiet and peaceful. Also there is a bar at the back of the beach open till midnight almost every night that does amazing cocktails, well worth a visit. All in all we had a lovely time and the good definitely outweighed the bad. Very good value for money and would definitely return in the future.
