Decided on a holiday to Globales Cala Vinas, after visiting the hotel in July and having a wonderful time. We needed somewhere to visit to chill and relax after losing a close family member in a tragic accident.

The hotel itself was great, amazing views, great access to the sea and 3 pools to choose from. However, a few small minor details let it down. The food was mostly mediocre, definitely could be better, drinks choice is pretty limited with all inclusive, and the spa was closed the whole time we were there. Room was lovely, definitely get the sea view with a balcony. Unfortunately the cave bar was closed but I can imagine that's great when useable. The service was very hit and miss, with only one member of staff being helpful. Evening entertainment was great and Magaluf is only a 20minute walk or 5 euro taxi. I was a bit shocked when I had to pay to use an iron... but overall the hotel was only let down by minor things that could be improved. Overall pretty good for what you pay for, I would return.

Where do we start, we selected this hotel based on friends previously visiting. This was our first trip since COVID and something we had spent a long time waiting for, unfortunately the experience wasn’t worth the wait. Staff in general were nice & helpful although the external Entertainment was appalling. The Animation team did a reasonable job if you got involved. The pool bar is open all day however with only ever two staff working and guests not being allowed anymore than two drinks at a time there was always a que. The piano & Cave bars didn’t open until 7 so there was no where else to get a drink if you didn’t want to que. Disappointingly the Cave bar was closed during the second week of our trip so the hotel could provide a management celebration which included children in the Adults Only hotel. The food is basic although a large selection was available, being a party of 6 often proved difficult if you wanted to be seated together. Our room was small and getting into the bathroom meant you had to stand in the corner to close the door before using the facilities (521). Our friends in 519 & 520 had much larger bathrooms which considering they were single occupancy demonstrated the hotel hadn’t thought about who got what room. Finally on a positive note the location of the hotel offered some amazing views and in our opinion saved the hotel. Our advice would be to stay in Terranova where there is more going on.

Hotel is lovely, views are fantastic. The food is edible not always hot. The only annoying thing is the lack of bars open, pool bar open all day, only allowed to take two drinks at a time but the queues are ridiculous, and no mask no drink. Entertainment is basic nothing to make you go wow. Ideal location for a quiet holiday or a 20 minute walk into Magaluf. Be aware you have to pay 30 euro for the safe in your room.

Nice location with friendly staff, however, the bar is really understaffed and there are always queues that run along the side of the pool, this is a management issue not the staffs fault… the food is basic and lunch isn’t really worth going to, the pool snack bar seems more popular… hopefully the week will get better
