Globales Cala Viñas is celebrated for its breathtaking sea views and its proximity to serene beaches, with visitors often commending the hotel's spotless rooms and amiable staff. Some reviewers, however, have highlighted a need for more engaging entertainment options and a boost in the all-inclusive drink selection.
While the atmosphere is described as quiet, possibly too subdued for some, the overall cleanliness is a recurring positive note. Nonetheless, concerns about noise, room amenities, and the perceived value due to additional charges are areas suggested for improvement.

Detailed Reviews
I booked this hotel when it was part of the Sentido group but due to Covid was not able to check in until two years later. By then it had been taken over by the Globales giant.
What a difference. I had stayed here previously in 2018 under the Sentido banner and it was classy and deserving of the 4 Star rating.
Under Globales it has been downgraded to a 3 Star rating. Rightly so!
Food is bland, repetitive and boring. Vegetables are grossly over cooked to the point of wilting and the meat is very often over cooked turning it tough and tasteless.
We ate out a few times to break up the monotony of this uninteresting fare.
Breakfast was the same every morning. Cheap sausages and runny eggs epitomising the rest of the fare on offer.
The Canteen/restaurant was spotless, though noisy and was overseen by the restaurant manager who was pleasant enough, though overzealous in enforcing the mask rule when not seated at your table. Made you feel a bit uneasy at times.
There were inconsistencies in the mask rule in that the lifts were only allowed to take one person at a time unless people were in the same family group. This was unrealistic given the amount of guests and as such most folks used their own common sense.
The pool area was clean, though what really annoyed a lot of folks was that many of the beds had towels left on beds all day with no one using them until late in the day and sometimes not at all. Some towels were even left on beds overnight thus preventing other people their use. This seems to be acceptable to management as nothing was ever done about it.
Entertaining was poor. Some nights there was nothing on at all.
It was an over 18 hotel but I noticed from my previous visit that the a lot of the guests now are in the early twenties to thirty group.
What one might regard as the Magaluf crowd.
I’m Sixty one so felt a bit uncomfortable relaxing with these semi naked youngsters next to me.
I get the impression that this is the age group that Globales is reaching out to. Especially as Magaluf is a short walk from the hotel.
Rooms are basic though spotless. One real aggravation is the lack of British Television and the poor signal, which is very frustrating as sometimes it’s nice to just get out of the sun and chill in front of the tv for a wee hour or so.
Biggest plus for the hotel is the cleaning staff. They were superb and the whole place gleams from morning till night due to their efforts.
The other big plus is of course the location with an incredible view right onto the sea from the room balconies. I guess that is their biggest selling point as the food is pretty awful and the rooms are mediocre.

We stayed here for a week from 16th September. This hotel is in a great location overlooking a small bay with quick accces to a small beach from the pool area.
The hotel is only 20 minutes walk from Magaluf, a very pleasant leisurely walk. Magaluf was much better than anticipated, however we went there during the day not the evening.
We had a large bedroom with a separate room with double sofa bed, 2 TVs, and a very modern bathroom. The rooms were very clean and had lots of wardrobe and floor space.
The hotel was very modern inside and out, including the corridors leading to the rooms, and had great views over the bay.
The food was really nice, of good quality and well presented. There was always plenty of choice and it never got repetitive during the week.
Early in our stay there was a big problem with other guests leaving their towels on sun loungers for the duration of their stay therefore restricting lounger availability for others. Many of these people were often absent from the loungers for whole days. The hotel management did nothing to address this. Towards the end of our stay this improved and we were able to get a lounger when required.
There is a lovely indoor jacuzzi pool accessible from the main outdoor pool area. We particularly enjoyed ending each day with a visit.
During the daytime the only place to get a drink was the pool bar which consequently had long queues. The piano bar near reception only opened in the evening. It was not possible to get any kind of drink during the daytime from inside the hotel. If you wanted to sit inside with a coffee you had to go down to the pool to get it and then carry it 5 floors up to the piano bar seating area.
There should have been self service coffee machines inside the hotel like virtually every other 4 star hotel we have been to.
The Cave bar was an exceptional place but closed 3 days into our stay despite the weather still being great. The hotel missed a great opportunity here - the Cave bar has a stage and is perfect for evening entertainment, however they instead had the entertainment in the pool bar which was more like a working men's club and had lots of pillars which obstructed the view of the stage. Some of the acts (singers) were good but the bingo every evening was an off-putter.
The All Inclusive bar menu was poor when compared to other 4 star hotels. Most of the cocktails looked and tasted the same and were made using a pre-prepared orange coloured mixture in jugs on the bar. Other AI drink choices were limited and that's from people who are not big drinkers.
Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay and the maid service met our expectations.
In summary we did enjoy our stay here very much, it was a very relaxing holiday, but with a few basic improvements the hotel could be even better. We would recommend the hotel to people who want a calm holiday with quick access to more nearby facilities.

We have just returned from 11 nights at Globales Cala vinãs and I have to say that this hotel took my breath away. It was such a beautiful hotel and I would say it's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and modern. The staff can't do enough for you and they work so hard to make sure that your holiday is perfect. The bay that is beside the hotel is stunning and there are a few sets of ladders to give easy access to you to go into it. There is a cave bar that is so unique and a great atmosphere. They have different kinds of acts on at 10 every night and they have bingo on every night at around 9. It's 4 euros for a ticket but fun with great prizes.
We got taxis a few days from the hotel, Santa ponsa was around 10 euros and Magaluf was 6 euros. There is plenty to do within an easy walk but there is also a bus stop next to the hotel where you can get the bus into Palma for around 4 euros but if you pay on your card it's actually cheaper.
The room we had was a seaview and was cleaned everyday. The room is decorated very modern and you get a "bag for life" left in the room for you to take your towels etc to the pool.
I'm not going to say much about sunbeds as I think there has been enough said about that but we never had a problem getting a bed. The snack bar is great and the drinks had enough options that we weren't stuck for an option. The food at this hotel was very varied and always had something that we were happy with. The different paellas for lunch were beautiful.
I must give a shout out the the entertainment team Javi and Aneta as they were always enthusiastic and didn't stop from sun up to sun down and made a point to speak to everyone asking if they were enjoying their holiday and if they could do anything to make it better. Cristina in the restaurant was there every day with a smile to greet you and help you if you needed anything at all.
I would honestly go back to this hotel anytime and if far exceeded my expectations. A first rate hotel that doesn't need to change a thing. Thank you all for making my first holiday since lockdown began the best it could be. You are all amazing!! Keep up the great work and I hope to see you again soon.

Just returned today and read a previous review and can only add and agree with everything said.
We arrived and were given room keys and nothing else in the way of information. I have since learnt that the bar code on the card holder when scanned supplies all the info you need on the hotel.
No information available in the room either and paper cups to use for coffee which were not replaced when used. Nothing in the mini fridge and when I asked about bottled water for it I was told it’s not a mini bar but appears others have been given water.
Room on 11th floor had amazing view so 1 star for that.
The dining room was like a free for all canteen with no organised system for Covid and people walking all around your table while you ate. We were told to expect to be served our buffet food but this was not the case. Everyone shared the serving spoons having entered the area without everyone sanitising hands !
The poor kitchen staff seemed overworked and not happy although 2 members of staff were very pleasant and stood out. Sonia on reception was able to advise us on a trip to Palma as well as a suggestion for a meal another night. A young lady working on the pool bar was also very pleasant so they deserve praise.
As others have mentioned the pool was disgusting with scum from sun cream thick on the sides and I took a photo from the bar area and you can still see the dirty pool. I mentioned to the pool attendant and he simply went around with a fishing net as if he was cleaning it ! The fact that everyone congregates in one 3rd of the pool which is the only part you can stand up in doesn’t help !
We couldn’t stomach the pool as the week went on so went in the sea which seemed to have cleared of jelly fish.
The sun beds have towels put on them at 6.15am - who goes on holiday to get up and put towels out at that time ? I mentioned this to reception and she said she would speak to the manager ?
As a previous review has said a few groups of younger people came here and took over drinking all day. This takes some doing due to the standard of drinks, not even the Spanish Larius gin included on AI and can’t say I felt the effect of any alcohol until we went out for a couple.
We don’t join in activities but they were barely visible.
Lots of facilities not available so would say this hotel would be struggling to be a 4*

After reading some of the reviews after booking last minute, I was nervous about visiting as some of them are very derogatory. We are still at the hotel and have been very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very clean and the staff are really lovely. I encountered quite a serious incident (nothing to do with the hotel) and had to speak with the hotel manager and he could not have been kinder. In fact, everyone from the housekeepers to the reception are extremely helpful. Our room was fine, it had everything we needed and our view was amazing. We swim in the sea rather than the pool but again, it seemed clean and the lifeguard needs an award as not only does he work hard keeping everyone safe but he cleans up after everyone too. The food is better than I expected for an AI hotel. Lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and salads. It would have been lovely if there was an outdoor seating area to eat so you can enjoy those beautiful views but that's not the hotels fault.
Some suggestions for improvement would be soft drinks and water in the room fridge although I don't want to be negative, the charge for the safe is unnaceptable. I don't think I have ever paid such a large amount even in a 5* hotel.
A note about safety though for the hotel to consider. We accessed the sea from the steps farthest away from the beach. There is a boat trip that leaves from the same point and returns a couple of hours later. In addition, boats and jetskis come in very close to where people are swimming, paddleboarding and using inflatables. Again I cannot fault the lifeguard as he was always there when the boat trip was coming and going but I would suggest that the hotel speak to the local authorities for speed limits to be lowered or jetskis and boats not be permitted beyond a certain point. I appreciate that people need to be aware and look out for themselves but there have been a couple of close shaves whilst we have been here and not everyone seems to be as aware of the dangers as they should be. A warning sign in various languages on the wall by the ladder into the sea might be a good idea, possibly with the times the Brittania Jet will be arriving and leaving so people have their memory jogged. Just a suggestion.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We were so happy to have had such a nice holiday after a terrible 18 months

+1
We visited Globales Cala Viñas towards the end of May and beginning of June 2022 with our other couple friends. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised at the hotel and were all pleased with the rooms we were allocated on the 8th & 9th floor.
Overall the hotel was very clean, tidy and most staff very helpful. The cave bar was a lovely venue and the entertainment & animation staff were fantastic each night - definitely recommend!
The all inclusive options were great, the food wasn’t always things that went together, but that’s to be expected and we always found something we liked so can’t complain there.
The pool was lovely with the beach and sea very close by too! Only complaint about the pool was that a fair few of the sun beds were damaged and piled up, and the others were grabbed before 7am meaning you struggled to get anywhere to sit after breakfast. This did get better towards the end of the week though, but perhaps more needs to be done to stop the ‘reserving’ of sun beds by some. I imagine it’s not always like this though.
As mentioned, our room was lovely and the sea views were stunning. However, unfortunately we reported to reception that our manual room door lock didn’t work upon arrival, this was never fixed whilst we were there for the week. We later noticed that our balcony door also didn’t lock which isn’t ideal. It’s a shame that this wasn’t fixed for us. The safe also is listed as included online but it does come with an extra cost if you wanted to use it.
We took the bus to a couple of places, the bus stop it reasonably nearby (going out), but be careful coming back as we assumed it would drop us back off at the stop nearby to the hotel. It didn’t! We had to walk 30 mins on one of the hottest days, from the stop after Cala Vinyes, so be careful with that! There are 3 stops in Cala Vinyes and we found the best one to get off at was the 2nd (after our mistake). At least we knew for the next time. Depending on the zone the area is you’re going to, the prices vary but pretty simple to work out.
100% recommend the beach bar that is located a short walk from the hotel, at the back of the beach area. Happy hour is from 5pm - fab cocktails and food if you wanted to try something different!
Overall, great hotel with minor things to complain about. It wouldn’t put us off coming back, and we’ve already booked for next year! Really looking forward to it and hopefully the little issues will be ironed out by then :)

We stayed here for 7 nights in June for a relaxing holiday as mother and daughter. The hotel itself is beautiful, stunning views we had no issues with our room it was cleaned everyday and the air-con was very welcomed!
The food was lovely it has a good variety each day, one criticism would be there was not always labels telling you what each item was which unfortunate as it meant some dishes weren’t tried just in case!
They have an average drink selection, a few of my favourite cocktails weren’t included but really enjoyed having their version of baileys every evening at the cave bar or sat on our balcony playing cards!
The issue with the sun beds is as bad as everyone’s reviews.. because of a few people who can’t abide by the rules you adapt an ‘If you can’t beat them join them’ policy just so you have somewhere to lay out! We along with others complained to the hotel to be told there is nothing they can do and actually encouraged us to take peoples towels off the sun beds! It is frustrating when you can see reserved sun beds that haven’t been used all day and people are walking round in circles looking for somewhere to sit but I don’t don’t see it changing anytime soon!
Would recommend upgrading €10 each to use the ‘VIP’ area with sun beds, bar and pool we did this on our last day and wished we had done it sooner it was so peaceful a welcome change from being by the pool.
The hotel is in a quiet spot but with a bus running from just outside the hotel to get into Magaluf was 2 minutes away, Palma Nova 5 and Palma about half an hour you had options to get out and about! A little tip use your bank card on the bus as it works out cheaper then paying with euros and remember your masks as they won’t let you on without one!
Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

We got a good deal for this trip and the experience matched the cheap price we paid:
Staff
The staff were generally cold and unwelcoming and gave very little help when checking in. All information (facilities, meal times, how all inclusive works, where to find anything, covid testing, mask wearing rules, late checkout) had to be figured out ourselves. The pool bar staff in particular were the rudest.
Rooms and sleep
The room was fine although twin beds pushed together rather than a double bed. Also the aircon was not great so very hot at night.
We were placed right next to the cave bar where entertainment goes on till midnight. We are early sleepers and could not sleep due to the very loud music. Asked to change rooms and were put a few floors up but same location so made little difference. As a result had very poor sleep the whole trip, it was like sleeping next to a club. If you enjoy early nights and a quiet atmosphere this is not the hotel for you!
Food and drink
The food was nice however there was little variety. Lunch and dinner are basically the same and by day 3 didn’t really look forward to it. Some drinks but not all were all inclusive which took a while to figure out.
Facilities
The gym and spa was closed which we didn’t know till we arrived. The pool was generally clean and always managed to get a sunbed. We only found out on our last day there is actually a second pool and solarium on the 5th floor (again, no info given about this we just stumbled upon it).
Location
Decent location and easy to get 30 min taxi from airport. 20 minute walk to Magaluf and 45 minute bus to Palma from outside the hotel.
Covid testing
There is on site covid testing which can be used for return to the UK. This was really easy to book and got our results in under 24 hours. However it was expensive (75 euros each for PCR test).
Bottom line
The hotel is nice enough for the price but I would not stay here again

+1
Me and my partner booked this hotel for our honeymoon from the 16th to 23rd October. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by friendly receptionists. We were early and had no where to keep our luggage whilst they were getting our room ready so we had to leave it in the reception area. We went and had some lunch which we must say was very good, excellent choices of dishes and desserts and we've only had one bad meal since being here. We were given a room on the 11th floor which has exceptional views of the sea and they had also put a bottle of prosecco in our fridge for us. If you want a good sea view, request the 5th floor up. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good and can't fault the housekeepers at all and there is hand sanitiser everywhere you go even in the lifts. The location of the hotel is very quiet and there is a little shop just across the road and it's also only a 20 minute walk into Magaluf which we done 4 times on our stay where there's loads of shops. They is a good selection of sun beds and we never struggled to get one, we always went to floor 5 where there is a small pool and where it's quiet and away from the main pool. They have a good choice of activities throughout the day but the evening entertainment is very poor. You can also get snacks throughout the day from the pool bar. The free WiFi in the hotel is very good as well and get signal outside too.
The bad points of this hotel are that there is only one bar open all day and the queues are very long, especially as there is 3 other bars that could be open.
The air-conditioning in the rooms aren't great and had to keep our curtains closed all day so it stayed cool.
When queueing at the pool bar outside you must wear a mask or you don't get a drink and it's only 2 drinks per person so when you've finished your drinks you have to go and queue up again.
The lifts are very slow and take ages to come.
The television in bedrooms also isn't very great and signal is poor and very limited on English channels.

We attended this hotel as a group of 6 friends and stayed on an all inclusive basis.
Check-in was seamless. Considering there was a few of us, it took no time. Bit disappointing in that once we were checked in, I had to ask about meal times and where we could get a drink, to basically be told to scan the QR code on the key card wallet and that would tell us everything. This is a good feature, but on arrival, if you have been traveling a while (which we had, due to flight delays), it would have been good if they'd just quickly run over what was available to us.
The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. They did tend to get quite cold at night and out of the 4 rooms booked, only one had working heat. It wasn't cold enough to warrant complaining, especially as we were only there for a few days. There are extra blankets in the wardrobe aswell, so not a major issue.
We luckily got rooms next to each other and these looked over the pool area. The views are amazing and there are chairs on the balcony that you can sit out on and enjoy the view. Basic toiletries are provided and bottled water in the fridge.
The pool area is clean and there are plenty of sunbeds available. Sun umbrellas are a plenty and staff are happy to being them over if you ask. The pool bar could do with more staff as the queues were often 8-10 people long. I also had to ask for a drinks menu and was given a photocopied piece of paper, which had half the drinks missing. I ended up going back to my sun lounger to scan the QR code to get the menu and then had to go back up and order. No biggie, but would be better if they had menus available on the bar.
I didn't take part in any of the activities, but other girls did and they said they were good and plenty of fun.
I didn't go in the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was lovely.
The food served at the pool bar was slightly below average. The selection was as expected, the usual burgers and chips etc, which was fine, but the "chef" seemed to want to get them out the kitchen as quick as possible and that meant just blanching the items in the deep fat fryer and sticking them on a wooden board. The chips were gross.
Food in the main restaurant, was again, as expected at an all inclusive hotel. Nothing to write home about, but plenty to choose from and no danger of going hungry, unless you are extremely fussy.

It wont let me share the email address on here, look on the palladium website
Yes with coffee and tea
Yes, think it is a deposit of €20 then €1 euro every time you get 5hem washed.
If you haven't booked it with your package, it's only available if there are beds available. I'm not sure how much the daily charge is, but knowing this hotel group, it won't be reasonable. We found the 8 hours it's open to be good enough for us.
We paid approximately £180 for 9 days ( 2 people ) for the twin room with the VIP option - hope this helps
